I dunno , I've seen Dusty's wattage creep up over time , I like my Kayfuns with my SVD as a solid convenient vape but I couldn't believe the difference in flavor running DF in the Magma with duals at .7ohms , I'm using an extra long driptip to cool the vape and it works quite well but going down to .5 was too hot for me , this atty really shines in the .7 to .9 range .

For me to sub-ohm, it would have to fill a niche that is not currently being filled by what I currently use. There is no unfulfilled gap in my vaping experience right now.

If I sub-ohm, it would also be on a completely different plain to what I am already used to based on my KFL usage. Since I'll be using the same juices at completely different levels of power etc, it does me no good to follow that path.

I have a 3 drippers setup with 28g single coils at 1.2 ohms right now. My KFL's are setup with 1.3 ohm single coils. I can switch juices between drippers/KFL's without any perceivable changes to the experience.

The only time I use my drippers is when I'm testing new juices. The rest of the time I'm on the KFL's.

What would sub-ohm really do for me on a day-to-day basis?

I don't see a reason for me to sub-ohm. Do you?!

With taste being subjective , I can't answer for you but I've been playing with different builds in the Magma and the best results for flavor have been in the .7 to .9ohm range for me and I think Calve and Vapinbill concur with that . But is it right for you , no way of knowing unless you try . All I can say is what's giving me the best results IMO .

I've always said dripping produces a better vape than a KFL. I still use my simple, single coil Phoenix drippers and the flavor is noticeably better than my KFLs. Not by a lot, but it is better by a notch. I just don't like the inconvenience of drippers. I like having 4.5 mls in a tank. And I have no complaint about how the KFLs produce flavor. It's not far off from dripping.

We have come a long way from arguing about which was better...Vivi Nova's Vs Kanger T2's, Top Coil Vs Bottom Coil, Cartos Vs Wicks, etc...

But right now I've gone to a single twisted 28 ga coil at .7ohms as a compromise because most of my juice is at 24mg nic and the lower ohm duals were killing me , the flavor was better with the lower ohm duals but I can't handle the nic with them , I like the 24mg juice in my Kayfuns but it's brutal for me in the Magma , I can't inhale without choking . With a lower nic percentage I'll go back to a dual setup in the .8 range strictly to get the best flavor out of it . I can test flavors in the IGO with an above ohm setup but I bought the Magma to chase flavor with . I never would have bought some of the motorcycles I've owned without the intention of running them WFO at times , kinda the same thing with this .

The bottom airflow seems to be the difference as far as flavor , BK has a crapload of RDA's but they don't quite produce the results this one does .

You'll not get an argument out of me about the Kayfuns , it's a solid design and I can't see any major advantages in other RBA's so far , it seems you gotta give something up in one area to gain in another and just wind up with a more complicated , build dependant device .

I just put my 3.5 year old Reo Grand back in circulation. Atty: BF Era. Coil: 28g micro wrapped around a 5/64 drillbit, wicked with Rayon. 1.2ohms. Juice is Bobas Bounty.

I'm guessing (based on how often and how much juice you order) that you have way more juice than you could ever vape before thingies start floating in your bottles. Can't you offload the Boba's since it sounds like a chore to have to finish it off? Build a brick wall and use it for mortar.

I could.. and I may. It's Meh at best. I got it as part of a package from somebody that was offloading a couple bottles of Tribeca. That I love!!

I don't have much juice that's old. Most of my oldest stash goes back around 4 months. The rest is newer.
