It makes me like Huntsman more than I did before. More complex, but more subtle too. Or maybe just smoother. I'm more focused on how to get the most from each draw though. You know, without choking. Vast clouds! I usually mouth hit, then inhale. Much trickier to get it right on the 3.1.

You'll get used to it soon and you'll be able to fine tune it in a way no clearo can match , between resistance , airflow control , amount of wick and wicking material not to mention wire gauge , as in 30 heats up quicker than 28 and so on , you can get it set to your exact preferences , then you'll really start picking up the nuances in your juices .

What's your preferred resistance and wire gauge for HHV? I like long draws, so is 28 better for that if 30 heats up quicker?

I prefer the 28 as well , I hover between 1.5 - 1.7ohms using organic cotton balls for wicking , I'm usually between 10 - 12 watts on my SVD , the 30ga gets a bit warmer quicker , the 28 gives me a little cooler vape but denser probably due to longer coil making more contact with the cotton , also like the 28 because it's sturdier , I rewick every two tanks and the 28 doesn't pull apart as easily as the 30 , but those are my preferences , you need to play with it a bit to find yours .

I built a 26g coil yesterday around 3/32 drillbit. 10 wraps came in at 1.2ohms. FYI. Running at 13.5watts with Maple Eh. 4 volts.

That's the highest wattage I've seen you use yet , but the heavier wire needs it , I haven't played with 26ga yet , how do you like it ?

Did a clean-up/rearrange of the vape shelves yesterday afternoon and got rid of a ton of old junk. Everything ProTank, Vivi Nova and similar vintage is now in the garbage bin.

Juices in rotation on top shelf. Steepers in black toolbox on bottom shelf.

Quite a nice Vape station, Dusty!

    EDIT: PS, nice coil too.

No flavour. Worried about bumping it up further, which it clearly needs because the KFL may be the limiting factor. This may be something that needs to be used in drippers.

I ordered the 3.1 from angelecigs, the lite I bought in the classies. Dont know the brands of either of them:(

If it's the lite and doesn't have the air flow control it's no biggy, really. I have both the lite and lite+ and enjoy the heck out of them. Air flow isn't a big deal for me unless it gets too airy. Neither of the KFLs get that airy, so I'm a happy camper.

Retic, I could not wait for you to see that I went for it! I'm already wanting about 5 more of these. And a lot more HHV, because this baby burns through juice. I actually got a nic buzz at the B&M after just 3 hits. Is that my imagination, or does the Kayfun really deliver nic that well? I just moved to 18 mg from being at 24 mg for over three months. I noticed more nic from my new Aero and Nautilus, but the Kayfun was even more intense. I did not chain vape last night even though I wanted to.

And the FLAVOR! I am thrilled beyond words with this tank.

The young woman at the store did the first coil build for me to show me how. I think her coil was around 1.4. Then I watched the videos and saw The micro coil and I had to try doing it. This was necessary sooner than I planned because of course I drained the tank and burned the organic cotton wick!

Instead of just re-wicking, I did a micro coil build. First one was great, until I tried to adjust its position and I shorted it. But my next attempt came out well! and is reading at 1.5.

I used 28 ga Kanthal on a 5/64 drill bit with 10 wraps. Got that lovely glow from the inside out, and it's vaping really well. I'm almost out of my new bottle of Legend, so Huntsman it is.

Probably too late, but Huntsman is gonna knock your socks off! Ohm levels at 1.5 are good, I vaped at low resistance for quite a while, now I'm back up to around 2.5 ohm - love to put a bit more wattage to them. I don't go for anything more than 10 W usually. Depends on the juice.
