No immediate use for one unless I want to twist kanthal at 35,000 rpm !I used mine for polishing small parts on my guns but I wouldn't use a dremel on any of the firearms I have now .

Well you can always twist the other stuff , a dremel at 35,000 rpm should make quick work of it .![]()

Ummm , I'd use a dremel on the SW model 27 if I decide to reblue it , they're great for polishing , and since the MIL damaged it there's no issue with working on that one .
oh okay... I thought you were planning on something with the 44...

Nice to see this thread take a turn like this lol. After all, they weren't specific in the title of "Lets talk hardware", right?

Nope they weren't , the 27 was my father in laws from the 1950's , it's a rare piece with a 3 1/2 inch barrel . My MIL got a hold of it stashed it under a sofa and let it rust . It's a damned shame , S&W doesn't produce guns with the quality of blueing like this anymore , and the trigger is a delight on it as well . I gotta consider what to do with it now .
I'd like to see some pics of that 27, different angles, close ups. Yes. Yes I would.
I'll have to see if BK will post pictures of it for me sometime , I'm using a PS3 for internet access and the browser is very limited , I do also have an original 3 screw Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 magnum in perfect condition , no transfer bar on it , just like a Colt S.A.A , it's from the early 60's , worth a chunk of change .
Ill bring the camera to your place and we can take some pics...
I like that David. Kinda like the Micostick.
