Let's see...just wicking material...silica, ceramic, hemp, bamboo, ss mesh, ss cable, cotton wick, cotton pad, cotton balls, rayon. What have I missed?

Artistic Wire has one that's easy to set up and it's only $8. I made mine from parts from the hardware store, a coat hanger and a cutting board.

I just wrapped a perfect coil by hand and it took 9 seconds.

Like I say, if you want me to send you some coils just give me your address (I lost it). I'll send you some. It takes no effort at all. You just screw them to your Kayfun and feed them your cotton (unless you want me to put silica in them). Done! I sent April some and she's using them.
Bimini's pics will be better, but I was curious about the coil gunking on rayon. Yesterday Fire in the Hole (Quick Nic Juice) courtesy of Bronze - it was excellent, thank you again! - was Magmatized. My experience is limited, but my KFL coil, cotton wick was a lot worse after about 1 ml of Balkan, and the cotton was black.
Coils with rayon before - they'd had about 1 ml of Legend vaped on them at this point, so they are not pristine.

Thank you for the offer, I'll think about it. I am going to try your tutorial the next time I make one and see if that makes a difference.
