Built a GP Heron clone with a 1.8 ohm 28ga microcoil wicked with rayon , no filter floss in the tank , ran the rayon out the chamber top and left about an inch of tail sticking out , it's wicking like a champ with 100%vg in it , BK will post some pictures after he picks his up tomorrow .
sitting here hitting on the Hades with the little toad and noticed that the top of the Hades is getting warm due to conduction from the toad... they have the heat sink fins in the wrong spot.....
I recieved a Heron from Retic today and brought it home and set it up
28ga 5 wrap 3mm dia for 1.4 ohms.... different design compared to any other tank system I have come across.
The draw on it was a bit tight for my preferences so a bit of surgery was preformed. I drilled out the chimney tube to 1/8 ", drilled out the 3 airflow holes one step up from what they were and the airflow "nub" got drilled out to 1/8" and was replaced with a small section of 1/8" od brass tube. Even with all this material removal, it is still a tiny bit tighter than the HCigar 3.1 KFC (wfo) on airflow...
Flavor is pretty intense, maybe even a bit more than what the 3.1 delivers. ( the Magma is still more flavor heavy with duals). The Heron will definately be residing on the display/working "tray" along with the 3.1 and RSST

For those using the new Low-Profile REOS (Craig), Rob has posted the RM5 for sale. Stainless Steel, 3 Post/ Dual Coil, adjustable Airflow Ring. Looks sweet from some of the pictures I've seen in REOVille.
