I just watched Todd's review of the Origen from more than a year ago. Looks like the Magma copied a lot of the Origen.
Just the shape of the well , everything else is different , 2 posts vs 1 post , undercoil airflow vs side airflow , did you watch his review of the Magma ?

Hey guys, I'm about to order a Magma clone from fasttech and noticed they have hundreds of other models for cheap. Can anyone suggest a good rba/rda to buy along with the Magma? Perhaps something small and portable that resembles Kanger T4 clearomizers. I like how I can hit the T4's for just a couple of seconds to reach my desired puff size. I'll appreciate any recommendations.
Voltron , this would be my suggestion , slender but incredible flavor , doesn't get any better than this . $22.15 Kayfun Mini V2.1 ES Style Rebuildable Tank Atomizer Kit (1.6-4.0ml) - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I'll second Retic's suggestion and back it up with experience. The KFMini is an outstanding eGo style RBA with all the flavor and ease of build as the big brother KFLs. It's also versatile; can be used as a dripper, a Kanger like 3ml capacity atomiser and a super long nearly 5ml - what I like to call the "Hogwarts" mode.

Yes. There is also a V2 Origen and a new prototype of the next Origen. To me, it looks like Magma improved on the Origen and now Origen is incorporating some of those improvements on the Magma.

I pulled the trigger on Sunday night and ordered both the Magma clone and Kayfun Mini. :)

What do you guys think of rayon compared to cotton? There's some listed on ebay that I'm considering buying.

I prefer Rayon but you're probably better off ordering from Sally's Beauty Supply online than Ebay , you can get a lifetime supply from Sally's for $12 - 500ft . Graham CelluCotton Cotton Coil Congrats on the Magma and the Kayfun , you have some good stuff headed your way !

Vape Mail today. KFL+ V2 to replace the lost one, some needle tip bottles and narrow drip tips. Overall just ok with this shipment. First, the needle tips are just a bit too slim to fill the KFC or KFM from the fill hole, but they'll be fine filling the KFLs or KFC from the top. Thinking that would be the case I ordered the narrow drip tips as well, but in this case it's the opposite - they're not narrow enough to fit in the hole on the side and come to find out they're too big to get in the fill hole on the bottom as well. They might still be used to fill from the bottom hole if one can get a good seal over the hole.

As for the KFL+, the machining is good all round and after a couple of baths in boiling soapy water I set it up with the quartz tank. I'm not fully satisfied with this tank for a couple reasons. Firstly, the bottom ring partially covers the opening of the fill hole and nothing but the thinnest needle tip I have will fit through. Secondly, the tank sections came loose as I was carrying it round in my pocket just enough to leak juice soaking the provari as well as the pocket! It was a bugger to get the glass tank apart at first and when I put it back together I lubed it up with some juice, so I know it has a good seal. It just can't be jarred too much.

The holster might have helped there but I'd have to push it out from the bottom. I wouldn't dare pull it out of the holster from the top! Calve's holster has a nice tight grip on the mods. We'll see how the standard tank works when I refill - then the nano tank after that. All in all the KFL+ is pretty dang good.

Congrats on the Magma and the KFMini. I think you'll like them.

Cotton vs Rayon vs silica, pretty much up to personal preference there. I'm using Rayon for the time being as it's a bit easier to use, IMO.

Chak I love my quartz tank for the KFL but also have a little more challenge with filling it. I normally leave that one at home to use, haven't had leaking issues just afraid to break the tank when out and about.

Hope I didn't mislead anybody, it's a good tank and doesn't leak in normal use. I just didn't realize that it would come apart so easily in my pocket. I was doing some light gardening and squatting down to pick up potted plants and such, so I really shouldn't have been surprised to find a sticky mess when I went for a vape. Both ends of the tank were askew, but not fully off the o-ring.

The first time I filled it, I didn't even notice the problem - I used HHV standard drip tip on their bottles with no issue. It's when tried to refill after the leak with an 18 gauge needle tip that I found it wouldn't fit through the hole. The green blunt needle tip (21 gauge ?) is slim enough to get through.

Oh, I also found the airflow to be a little tighter than the genuine KFL+. To fix that, I took the AFC screw completely out.
