Ouch indeed! Best thing to do in that situation is to pour cold, not hot, cold water over the tongue till it comes loose from the pole, or drip tip.

Just thought I'd throw that tidbit of info out there just in case...

BTW - those Drip Tips are nice.

I usually switch to Delrin drip-tips once it gets below sub-zero temps here.

Those look interesting but 8ml is too much for me. Since I like to have three to four flavors minimum going at the same time it works better for me to use the smaller tanks...

That's the beauty of the design though. The tank itself is not larger than a KFL, yet can hold so much liquid due to no wasted space. There is also a nano kit available for the original that makes it 4ml and about 1/2 the size of the Kayfun. I'm sure that FT will carry them soon enough. For me, I'm more interested to see the performance factor of it, and may then invest in the original nano kit.

They're supposed to be really good. Qorax, if you've heard of him, has been raving about them for a while now. He was giving me grief earlier for not grabbing the original Erlprinz which is the "clone" version released by the manufacturer and only $40 or so.

Looks like they left out the juice flow control , Dusty does the FT version have AFC ? .

Well I sent three of my Reos to the 'Spa' today. I have three minis and one grand all from the classifieds...the grand was just a couple of weeks old, the seller just didn't care for the mod style. Once they come back all will have the upgraded contacts and should be in great shape for a long time to come. I could order the update kit and install it myself but prefer to leave that kind of work to the professionals OK..now I'm going to sign off and get back to work..

Never mind , the FT version has AFC but neither have JFC .

There is no JFC in it really.. It's not like that ring can be adjusted up and down to alter the amount of juice to the coil.

Sure I spent twice what I did at FT, but it gives me both the full size and the nano tank from the original manufacturer.

I'm satisfied with my decision.

Smart decision to produce their own clones , the original is a bit pricey and they nickel and dime you with the options , I'd be pizzed spending that much on an atty only to get a delrin driptip with it , maybe FT will start carrying some of the tanks for it .
