You know I've had so many different mods/attys through the years but am finally just so happy with what I have. I sent my Reos in for the upgrades just because I didn't want to ruin one of them trying to replace them myself. Once I get them back I will sell one of them, not sure which one but I don't need 4 Reos:facepalm: I have my Hana Minis and Isticks that won't last forever but are just awesome for out and about, work etc. with a KFL or nautilus tank. There has been mention of a new Nautilus tank but you know what, I don't care...love what I have so not looking for any more. The only toy I haven't set up yes is the Erlk clone and sometime this weekend should have a chance to set it up, but expect it to be similar to the KFL just a little lighter weight for the Istick. I also have the Microstick that doesn't get used much these days, but since it's a mech will keep it just in case... What I have works for me so guess I'm just tired of trying to chase the new stuff, finally:D

You have nothing.. Have you seen Darkgear's sale in the classies?

I'm trying to force myself to take six months or more off from chasing new gear. Think the jumps will be more noticeable. So easy to get caught up in all these gadgets. So many good ones out there these days. That said, I haven't bought a new PV in nearly a year. And all I bought atty-wise the past 8 months or so has been a couple RDA clones. So I've been a good boy. :)

But I'll bet David has been even more frugal.

I think I've become burnt out because things are changing so quickly these days...back in the day when I had to walk uphill, barefoot both ways to get a vape new items came on the scene at a much slower pace. It's wonderful...a new vapor has so many much more affordable options for an awesome vape available to them. Heck if I'd started with an Istick/Nautilus may never have looked any further.

Speaking of gear, I'm noticing my SVD is starting to act up. Sometimes it turns itself off. Same thing happened with my first SVD except that one was doing it all the time right out of the box. This one is doing it only once in awhile but it never did it before until recently. Dropped it maybe once but that's it. It's a SlowTech Chinese gizmo so it was cheap. I guess 7 - 8 months using it half the time is all I can expect. I'll be picking up the P3 or a DNA within the next couple months so hopefully this SVD lasts that long.

Bronze if the SVD gives out let me know...I forgot I have a Purple Zmax Mini...I'd send it to you for nothing;) On a serious note, I'd lend you a Hana Mini or something to keep you going until you decide what you want. OK...The Voice is over so going to watch the baseball game with hubby...I'd really like to see the Royals win tonight...

Mine is approaching 2 yrs old and it's still perfect , I don't use it near as much as I used to with the .8 ohm limit on it but I definitely got my $36 worth out of it .

Thanks IA. I have some clunkers in my bone box too. And I always have the Provari so it would just be a matter of swapping attys. Plus I have my Neme. I'm actually in good shape.

I'll probably pick up the SVD 2 because of the Evolv chip , I have another Rose clone ordered and I want a REO , I like my mechs . But I have a feeling the new kayfun might screw up my game plan . :)

I don't know what to think of the new Kayfun. On one hand I was so impressed with their original Kayfun back when it was released...it was such a game changer. On the other hand, are sequels just as impressive? Not usually. Trying not to get too hyped up about it. Same for the P3.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think SM knows the market they're in and they'll come up with something impressive , if they play it too conservative it'll go over like a lead balloon , there's too much competition now .

I'm just thinking they'll incorporate features that are already on the market. And if they do that fine. It will still be worth it. I'm just wondering if they will break new ground.

I'm even more convinced that I will not be getting a new Provari at this time. If anything, I may end up either doing what Papaw is doing and send in my old Grand for an overhaul to current specs, or just pick up a new one instead. I think I'm set for regulated vaping for now.

    We'll see.

    I didn't believe him for a second.

Me either. You notice he's carefully not talking about the DNA40. I think in the last year I've bought 2 KFL/Cs and the XPV DNA30. That's about $110 for the KFLs and $215 for the XPV. I'm thought about the 40 and am still following what people are saying. At this point I'm planning to wait. I'm happy with my setup and I'm thinking there's more to come sooner than we think.

After drilling the air intake to 5/64s and running the 1/16th bit through the KFL post it's been much better. I think it cleaned out some of the gunk LA had to scrap loose. Didn't know it was there and no amount of cleaning got it out.

I'm not convinced about the 40 yet. A bunch of us were discussing it at the vape meet, and I just don't know if I want to go the NR route. Not being able to dry burn or fire the coils when building a micro, or being able to torch it because it may melt or negatively impact the wire does not fit in with how I build coils these days. If I use regular Kanthal with it, I may as well use it on any other Regulated device, which I already have enough of. I was going to hold off for the RDna40 but decided to get the Sig 100W instead. So, you can say I made my decision the other day on whether I want the 40 or not.

p.s - P3, love it.. had it in my hand, could have bought it, but chose the Sig 100W instead. Yes, the vendor I was with is an authorized vendor and I could have walked away with a P3 if I had so desired. :p

    Pause.....

Dusty walked away from a P3 ? Was there a beautiful brunette e-pipe staring from across the room ? Or was it the electric European in a black dress he was craving ?

General, I think this needs further investigation....

 You guys are funny. Who knows exactly what the future holds?!

ZNA and Sig 100W will be primary devices for now. ZNA for Outside, Sig for Home. 1 Provari as back up for each of them.

Epipes, Panzer and Reo Grand make up the Mech arsenal.

4 KFL, 3 Magmas and the ErlPrinz as JDS'.

There's a bunch of other devices and toppers that are in the "bone box" so to speak.

Hmm. It seems some of you in this thread have found the cure for shinyitis? Or you've found a way to reduce the symptoms ;)

What I have works for me so guess I'm just tired of trying to chase the new stuff, finally:D

I find the ErlK to be quite a bit better than my KFLs. I suspect it's due to the greater range of air flow control. It is easier to coil, though I think the KFL is easier to wick. I also like its light weight when using it on my Vapor Shark. I think you'll appreciate it on your Isticks as well.

I've slowed down, but I am still in line for a couple of hand-crafted items. That Vapor Flask really has my attention & I would like to try the DNA40. But not before they ramp up their QC. It's a $300 mod! I also like the look of the ZNA, so maybe a ZNA 40?

Me either. You notice he's carefully not talking about the DNA40. I think in the last year I've bought 2 KFL/Cs and the XPV DNA30. That's about $110 for the KFLs and $215 for the XPV. Hmm. I wonder if that'll breath life back into my KFLs? I filled one up a week or two ago and hardly vaped it at all. I should probably recover that juice.
