And she's going to need a drill so she can try some twisted wire builds. A twisted nickel and kanthal wire has been tried for a build and it works. The experiments continue. By the time I get one I'll know which builds tend to work the best for most.

That's a neat little trick.

So April I'm on pins and needles...did you get your new mod today? I need to do a little research...I don't understand why you need nickel wire instead of kanthal...will have to check it out just to learn. Bronze I assume all is going well with the P3...sure hope so.

It's for the temp control feature. I can use kanthal but can't control the temp that way. It should be here tomorrow or Monday. I still need to buy the batteries so it will be a while before I get to play with it

I saw that, and it looks fun. Lots of room for me to grow and fiddle a bit. I'm still just hoping it's not one of the duds.

Over in REOVille, Rob has posted pictures of the prototype for a 'Mechanical Woodvil'. It is basically a Woodvil with an improved Contacts, Switch, Fire Button and 510 Connector. 18 gauge wires and 1/8 copper connectors, built to be sub-ohm ready.

Sub-ohm Woodvil. what is this world coming to .....

Sub ohm Papaw..all the cool kids are doing it..lol
I swear I can't get any lower than a .6 ohm most of the time, it's just too much for these old lungs.

I run my Woods at 1.3 ohm, my Grands at 1.5 ohm and VV Grands at 2.0 Ohms. Now my RM5 I'm currently running dual 1.2 for 0.6 total, but that's just occaisional use in the evenings, for now. If you're running single 0.5, are you twisting Kanthal to get there ?

But that's enough of that..... OK Ladies, where's the Pictures ? Wanna see Bright, New and Shiney around here !

No sir. Just lower gauge Kanthal. I usually use 26 gauge but Honestly prefer 24. Just been budgeting so 26 it is.

No new pics here, but this week received an nautilus, and a SILO tank. I'm still waiting on BVC coils so honestly not impressed with either. Today ordered an atlantis..
I'm not even sure why though as the reo is my go to every step of the way :p

Ok I had just asked this question as my Sig 100W is suppose to be here tomorrow.
Nichrome? G-Plat? Kanthal? What is the better wire to use for VW? Sorry but I've very noobish with VW.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/coil-builds/625020-sig-100-watt-coil-help-please.html

This has probably been answered several times so I'll just reiterate - most of us here, I believe, use Kanthal anywhere from 26g - 30, or 32g.

Edit: like I said, it was answered. Whatever you got on hand.

Nice setup, Bill, but can you put some names on them? That one on the left looks massive!

Sure, Chak. From left: BAP DNA40/Brass Monkee RDA, Zero with DNA40 upgrade/Patroit RDA(Glass TopCap), Fortune Original Brass with forced patina/Origin V2 RDA, and Chi You (Nefi switch & topcap)/HellFire Shorty Top Air RDA
