Bim. I didn't even notice the battery was integrated. I don't like that either. The BAP is nice too. I've been seeing some lovely custom ones
Papaw the only two I'm familiar with are the Magma & Veritas , They're both geared towards flavor rather than cloud chasing and both are capable of single and dual coil setups . The Veritas is more leak resistant and the Magma is a bit easier to build but either one produces serious flavor . Veritas RDA by IHybrid - Todds Reviews http://www.google.com/url?q=http://...j3_7Vg&usg=AFQjCNEOIcHvyyTGqhPHzHG1wi9TYr6NzAAlrighty then; some of you who speak gear fluently- I am thinking of venturing a little farther than ReosMods.com, so help me out... A Reonaut has been modifying RDA's into Bottom Feed RDA's specifically for Reos users. (Bronze knows who I'm referring to). As of yesterday, he posted the following as available, but he's dropping his prices 25% to make room for some new stuff he wants to try. This guy supposedly does quality work, so I am curious. Keeping in mind this will be going on a Low Profile Variable Volt Grand (BuzzPro chip limits out at 15W), I am thinking a roomy RBA with VAF and could easily be used as a single coil (positive center post of three post exempt- would just be wasted space); Clt2's $50. Doges, Dark Horse 1:1 ss, Mephisto, Veritas, and Magmas $45. with 25% off $50 RBA is now 37.50, $45 are now $34. $6 shipping. Which of these would work better single coil on a regulated BF Mod ? and (brace yourself) can you link to video review ?

Pop, I really think you should talk to Kiwi. For a couple reasons. One, he's familiar with the modded bottom feeding devices. Two, he's a smart fella. He lives in Durham and a military guy. Good kid. I like him a lot. Very nice guy and happy to give help and receive help. I'll link him to you if you want. He has been on the big thread before...just not in awhile.Alrighty then; some of you who speak gear fluently- I am thinking of venturing a little farther than ReosMods.com, so help me out...

Papaw , Bronze , LA & Sam have the Veritas .The Veritas looks like it's something I could work with single or dual coil, especially if it has been remodeled for a Bottom Feed (VV Grand). Anyone here have a Veritas (Dusty ? Lori ?) and what are your opinions of it ?

I wondered about that with the XPV but I got it anyway. And I have to say not having to carry an extra one is great. I run 1.3 ohm @ 21 watts and the battery goes 16+ hours with no problem. Now they don't have the VTC5 anymore but you can choose the LG or the Samsung. Both are 25A and 2500 mAh so should be good. I have the DNA30 and I would get a 40 but this ones not a year old yet. Protovapor has stayed under the radar for some time but more people are taking notice so the secret is out.Three of us have a Veritas Pop. Me, Lori, and Samuel. They are excellent drippers. Retic I think mentioned the two better ones. Magma and Veritas. The aforementioned, Kiwi is using a modded Veritas and he uses it 80% of the time. I've had zero trouble building on it but it is unique (not to be confused with difficult).
I have both of those* and I rate the Veritas just above the Magma for flavor, and another notch for it leak resistance. I also haven't tried a single coil on it yet, but an awful lot of people love it in single coil mode, too. I'm going to try a single next time I feel like wrapping a coil for it. But it's dedicated to PB and tastes so good, I just don't want to mess with it right now.
*I don't have either as BF atties.
And just how many times a day do you have to change the battery?I wondered about that with the XPV but I got it anyway. And I have to say not having to carry an extra one is great. I still haven't had to charge my VF and it's been in pretty much constant use since Monday.
About once a day. It is almost guaranteed to be at the worst time if I don't have a spare. I'm running sub-ohms in my mechs, 1.2-1.8Ω in my regulateds. I don't have to change the regulated batteries that often. But I also don't vape on them as much as the mechs.
P.S. One of those regs is a standard Vapor Shark 30. Built-in battery that does last pretty long. Much harder to replace than the XPV. I like that the XPV battery is easily user replaceable when/if it eventually needs it.
Ahhhh, dual batts. Problem solvedNow for dual batts, a DNA chip, and a squonk bottle. It's in the back of my mind, but it'll mull for a bit.
Been contemplating the dual bats also. I did come across this. Svapiamo If the conversion is right the price isn't bad for just a box. Just not sure about the finish on them. Keeping it bookmarked just in case. I keep checking FT also. Never know what they'll have.
Yea, I go back and look at those now & again. Thanks for the reminder. I like the contrasting woods and the wiring in the mechs. They had SX-350 BFs there, too. Not sure if they discontinued it or what.
