I don't deal with imperfection very well. :)

Let me quantify that, with coiling and wicking!!
You'd probably enjoy the dna40. I'm starting to see the benefit of the K4 being able to work on the deck while it's full of juice. If the build gets a little loose it won't detect a kanthal build right away (when it's on tight it prompts, new coil? Yes or no). If it's loose you don't get the prompt. I had no idea how loose things got between fillings. I almost didn't believe this to be true, and wasn't getting the prompt. Sure enough, drained the tank and secured the legs a bit, got the new coil prompt. I'm like a sponge, so much to learn.

Lets see. I don't twist the wick before putting it in the coil. After it's in I fold up the wick and put the first section on then cut the wick even with the top. Stuff the wick in the wells and press against the block. Then put 3 drops in each well and finish putting it together and filling. Then let it set for a few minutes or so and it's good to go. Works for me.:toast:

That's what I do on my KF 3.1.

I.e., put the wick in the coil, fold the wick UP, screw on the base of the chimney, trim the wick to be just above the top of the base, gently stuff the wick down to the juice channels, and then wet the wick with 10 - 12 drops of juice (making sure there are no dry spots).

And .......

I like it! I think I'll be fine with the air-flow. It's not as bad as I thought it was. Pretty sure I have a couple drippers like the IGO W6 etc that are far more airier.

Ofcourse, I won't know for sure until I get home and slap a build on it, but from holding/handling and dry hitting it, I like how the package looks/feels/handles. :)

Thanks Papaw!!

I got my Eleaf iStick today. It's a small little bugger. I really like the size of it.

I'm using it at 7 watts on a KF3.1 that I usually vape at 8.5 watts on my MVP2. So I guess maybe this thing does vape hotter at a given wattage than other devices, like I've read.

The iStick uses Pulse Width Modulation so it, in effect, burns hotter at the same power levels. Lowering the voltage setting by a watt or two on an iStick will compensate.
