He is using one of the best out there, old or new technology. Wonder why he did not get a Sat 22 along the way..

Had a go at rebuilding the clearo coil's for the Kanger Subtank today... other than I need to get some 26g-27g kanthal... it's a pretty easy job. I still need to try it out but I just switched out to the 1.2Ω the other day and need to use it up first... Using 28g 5 wraps on a 2.75mm rod, I ended up with a 1.3Ω spaced coil. I don't mind the Ω's I ended up with, I just wish there was more surface area is all.

Here is the method I followed...

I would expect you would need much deeper grooves for 70VG.. that is definitely dripper territory or a select few rta's.

I've been vaping 70VG juice from Ahlusion and QnJ in both my KFM and KFL+ with no problems. I wonder if using rayon is what's making it wick well.

Another Todd vid. This is a retro kit for the Nemesis. New switch and top cap. I love the switch. I'd get one of these kits but not for the $110 price tag. Talk about rape! I suspect we might see it cloned. I would love that 18350 mode on the Neme. I keep mine in 18490 but I really need to get some 18350's. Perfect size with that Veritas Todd has on it. Love it!

Fenix ARE-C2 Advanced Multi-Charger - Fenix-Store

Please tell me that my charger will work for the high drain 18650 batteries. I thought it would. Now I am not sure.

<<<Broad spectrum of Li-ion and Ni-MH rechargeable cell sizes
Supports Lion: 18650
, 16340, 14500, and 26650. Ni-MH: AA, AAA, C
Automatically selects charging modes based on the battery loaded
Accelerated charging
LCD display for battery voltage and charging status
Four slots monitor and charge independently>>>

Input: 100-240V (AC), 50/60Hz, 500mA (max), 12V-24V (DC), 2000mA (max)
Output: 4.2V/1.5V 1000mA x 4/500mA x 4

Oh I just saw the last part. 2000mA max? It says <<<The ARE-C2 is an advanced multi-charger compatible with a broad spectrum of Li-ion and Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.>>>

If this doesn't work, then I will have to get a new charger. This is the charger I use for my 18650 batteries here, that I use in a couple of flashlights I have. Oh I hope I don't have to get another charger.

Oh thank you BK. That is a HUGE sigh of relief. It was late, and I just happened to see that, and thought I better ask. I bought that charger a year or two ago. I wanted something that would charge just about every battery I had, and was decent. I had read bad things about most chargers. So I bought the best I possibly could, or at least I thought so at the time. I don't think I can slow down the battery transfer on this charger. I will have to look at that. I am unclear on which fast drain batteries would benefit from a slower charge.

it will be fine.... the 2000mah is the rating for the input side of the charger when run on 12-24VDC , the output side( 500mah per bay for 1.5V and 1000mah for 4.2V) is decent... may take up to 4 - 6 hours to charge the batteries

Quick ErlPrinz question for Dusty... I tried again to do a non-leaking refill. Only lost half a mil of juice this time.

After it's closed up and cleaned up, it works perfectly with no leaks. I have no wicking problems even if I chain vape.

It didn't begin to leak immediately when I was refilling. I know that more juice in the tank increases the pressure on the vacuum seal, making it more likely to leak. It seems like I can't go past about 75% fill before it starts leaking.

My question is - could this be a problem with my wick "shoulders" not being tall enough, or fluffy enough to keep the seal? If not, I'm stumped. I used a soft squeeze bottle with a green luer lock plastic tip. Juice went into the tank at a nice, smooth pace. Not too much force, and not too slowly.

Switched back from the 26 ga. to 28 ga, build on the Kayfun. There is a drop off on flavor and vapor. Not a giant drop off but a noticeable one. However, one thing I learned about the 26 ga. is the Kanthal stays warmer longer due to slower heat dissipation. It makes for a warmer vape while chain vaping. Some may like this. I don't, particularly. So as with all things in life, there are trade offs. I'm definitely leaning towards attempting a 27 ga build to see if it splits the difference. I don't have 27 ga. on hand so I'll have to order some when I get around to it. But after extensive experimenting with 26 and 28 gauge on the Kayfun/P3 using boost I have discovered two different experiences...both which are positive and both made possible by employing the P3 boost feature. I will say it again, boost (and I suspect Temp Control on the DNA 40) is a very nice feature which will significantly improve the vape experience for low/medium power vapers. I have to believe this will be a standard feature on regulated mods in the upcoming months/years.
