Give me a day or two to see if I'm having the same problem with cotton. Nothing against rayon, I'm just more experienced with cotton. If I still have the same problems, I just might take you up on that.

I've got HHV Bah-In in there now. Come to think of it, I don't know if I've run Clay's liquids in this kayfun before, and all of my liquids are 70% VG.
Good luck Pops. Agree, walk away from it and come back to it. I suggested using cotton before and I think it is a good next step. Send it only if you've run out of patience.
I've got Clay's 100% VG , I don't expect 30/70 to be as thick but I can definitively scrape this 100% VG out with a knife , no way I'd attempt to run it in the 3.1 . I got away with it in the Rose but it's a totally different animal .
I know people who vape Boba's Bounty in a kayfun and they report no problems. I suppose it is possible there are some juices that are as thick as BB but I would highly doubt there are any thicker. You don't pour Boba's. You crawl in the bottle and pull it out.
It takes over a minute of squeezing to fill up my Magma with this stuff , it wears my hand out .

I have some heavy VG juices that don't do well in the KFL. I don't have the severity of Brett's issues, but I would occasionally get dry hits. My HHv stuff is only 30Vg and that wicks perfectly in the KF.
I'd like to meet these people who run Boba's in a Kayfun and find out just what "Kayfun" they're using. You've got one of the originals. Tell me you think Boba's would ever wick on it..
Personally, I've never been able to run anything more than 40% VG on any of my KFL's..and that is after the modifications. The change I've made to the channels are not much, but they are enough for the 20 or 30% VG that I normally use. 70% VG on an authentic KFL, I'd say.. no way! There are clones out there with much deeper channels and also where they enter the deck, and I can see it working with those.
Sorry you're having issues with the KFL, Papaw but, I honestly believe you're asking it to do something that it just cannot keep up with.
I can't name you names Dust but there are some on the KFL thread that vape Bobas. KK has Boba's. Not sure she's tried it in the Kayfun.
I have vaped 100% VG in this Kayfun 3.1 ES clone that Retic gave me. (it was the Legend he sent me) I don't recall having a problem with vaping it. Now the Boba's Bounty, yes I can vape it too. But I add a few drops of vodka to it. (I've done it both ways, but it is much easier with the vodka) Every so often I will have to pull a vacuum on it. But you can do it. I have vaped Blend 4 in it too. I don't know what VG percent it is, but it is pretty high. I don't understand why Kayfun does not have deeper channels. Why must people file, and drill it, to get them right? Why doesn't Kayfun realize it needs tweaking, and just do it? They have a wonderful device. I hear so many people who have to drill air holes into their gear too. I just don't understand why they don't put a bigger freaking hole in there. Sorry. Papaw, I am feeling your pain. That must be very frustrating. This is an authentic? Do you have a machinist friend? If so, I would seek their help.

99%of Kayfunners do not carve out their juice channels because they never found a need to. And when the Kayfun came out, no one had large airholes. Larger airways (and adjustable airways) are relatively new to vaping.
How? Did you have to do primer puffs without firing? I just cannot see it wicking Bobas without some tweak to either the device or the juice..but I used to vape Boba's on my kfl

Well, as PoPop said, he takes those long primer puffs so he's laying on that fire button for a long time. That's really pushing the limits of many attys at 70% VG
I really meant that for all gear manufacturers. I love my Kayfun. But it would be so great to be able to have 100% VG, and have something wick like a dream. Yes, no problem with the Legend. I ordered higher VG in my last order of HHV. (well most of it I did) Huntsman, I actually ordered 100% VG. Most of them I asked for 70% VG this time. I did not do that with the Gaia, not yet. I want to see how the 70% works out. I am still trying to find out what I like the best. Oh, and did you know I had absolutely NO trouble vaping Boba's Bounty on my Nautilus Mini? Now I did have to change the coil frequently. But it vaped fine. I had to change the coil like every 3 days most of the time. But it wasn't just the BB that had me change it that much. I don't know how much Halo has percentage wise either. I bought a 7 ml bottle of Turkish Tobacco. I have some in my Kayfun. It is wicking wonderfully.

How do the air intakes compare - Svoe vs HCigar? Thinking maybe not enough air on the Svoe to keep it cool while it vaporizes the juice.
Also, what are the specs on the builds and volts/watts?
I usually never go over 4.3 volts on coils in 1.3 - 2 ohm range with my Svoe KFL.
