Lost my huge post (not that anyone wants to read my ramblings lol)

Loving my stillare now that I've found it's happy spot with build. Its working really well, and for $10 I can't complain.

One of my isticks took a bath the other day. Its taken apart in rice but I'm not holding out much hope.

Looking at the istick 50w, but there are so many other choices I'm overwhelmed. I like that the new istick they've fixed the issues of mean vs RMS output, and the contact is now stainless steel and a floating pin. It seems they're listening to customer demands and the price makes it hard to beat, but I'm holding out on some reviews. It was supposed to be released the 25th but we all know how that goes.

Everyone I've talked to is raving over the kanger subtank as well. I like that there is a rebuildable deck because I'm not paying $3 a coil.

So many choices, so little money

I did not hear that they addressed those shortcomings on the iStick. That's good news. Have you heard how it will be priced?

Retic, thank you. I don't have any NET's from Clay. If I have the right person you are talking about. I want to, but that will have to wait. If I can't run them in the Kayfun, that is not good. What about the Aqua2? I have yet to mess with that wick again. I am still on break from it. I thought about messing with it today, but decided to wait a little longer.

KK , I've never had a problem running HHV 100% VG in the 3.1's , the 100% VG from NET.com is much thicker , literally the consistency of molasses , no exaggeration . I wouldn't attempt running it in a kayfun unless I was forced to .

I wouldn't try running NET .coms 100% VG in the Aqua either , next order I make with them will be at 20/80 and hope it matches HHV's 100% VG in consistency . Until then the NET .coms goes in the Magma , I can run it in the Rose's and it'll wick but it gunks the coil in a half of tank so really no point in it . The flavor is great and I do recommend trying their juices but not at 100% VG if you plan on using it in a tank .

How about a little over a dollar a piece? http://www.fasttech.com/products/30...lacement-coil-head-for-subtank-clearomizer-50

They've got them in different ohms too. They can also be rebuilt quite easily from what I hear..

    Just sharing.. ;)

    No, unfortunately not!

    Thanks...

After I got some poorly made Evod coils ( from FT btw )... I'm understandably cautious now.

BTW... I can vouch for how easy it is to rebuild these coils... almost if not easier than a RTA deck on a Kayfun ( I have yet to try out the RTA deck in either the full Subtank or the Subtank Mini )... very simple either way. Not to mention, you don't have to rebuild immediately, you can just rewick at first.

Papaw, I'm just trying to get an idea of your vaping style. If you're taking 5-7 second drags, one after another, I can see how a KFL would have trouble keeping up.

Try taking a couple drags then prime the tank, "sans squonking" by holding the air intake close. Then continue vaping again.

Try half- second puffs (2) followed by a full second to second and a half draw.

That's pretty close to the current version, no? Did I hear $40 for the current version?
Yup 39.99 for the 30w full kit. So I can't see buying that instead of waiting another couple weeks for an extra 20w. It's size and price make it hard to beat.

Thanks, forgot to look there! Still undecided anyway, I just know I don't want the Atlantis. Everyone I know that has both definitely prefers the kanger.

Kkay, yes Clay is the right person at NET.com. It is possible to run his juices in the KayFuns, but they are coil gunkers for sure. I presently have several bottles of 60/40 PG/VG 12mg nic and I find the flavor dropping by the time I reach 3/4 of a tank, so, I usually don't fill them more than 3/4. I can't say much about higher PG/VG ratios, though.

Try half- second puffs (2) followed by a full second to second and a half draw.

Hmmm, that don't sound like excessive huffing & puffing at all. I take it you've totally dismantled it and checked for any blockage to airflow.

Have you tried increasing the distance of the coil from the air hole a little. I usually have around 2mm between the coil and the air hole.

Next time the General makes an appearance, someone ask him to repost his 'fix-it' for ProVari beauty rings, please....

Referencing archival data from the ECF Matrix..

Bronze AND Provari Ring AND Fix.

Place ring on the Ball side of a Ball Peen Hammer and lightly tap to expand ring circumference.

    Data retrieval complete.

I hadn't heard that either. I hope that means that the first version will be selling dirt cheap when the new version comes out. I like my original version enough to pick up a couple more, especially if they are even cheaper than before. I like mine a LOT, even with the RMS. A floating contact pin would be nice, though.

RMS is what is the standard on devices... the 20w iSticks didn't use that, they used AVG ( also called MEAN )
