I was taking a walk once and a squirrel ran in front of me and just stopped. I had no idea what it was doing, and a man in a yard nearby said; "He's waiting for a peanut... we all feed them peanuts around here!!" and I looked over to see a row of peanuts along the top of his fence.

So I said to the squirrel that I was Sorry, but I didn't have anything to give him/her,
and they scampered off.

I have never left the house without a bag of peanuts ever since!!!
