Alright, I have finally got IRC operational to a degree. Let's test it out and see how it goes!

Along with the help thread: "How to connect to the ECF IRC chatroom and how to register with NickServ

That would probably get the attention of those who don't know what IRC stands for.

Why the IP rather than a resolvable host...

EDIT: oh n/m: did.not.vote...org is resolvable, with a lookup, I'll use that, or is it not DNS resolvable?

FYI - If you're using a recent version of Firefox, it has Mibbit IRC built in now. Simply type "irc://72.20.38.123" into the awesome bar (or click that link) and select Mibbit when it asks you which application to use.

the ip is due to not having a irc.e-cigarette-forum.com pointed to the ip using a name record.
if you prefer to connect to a regular domain you can connect to a temporary 1
I had setup /server irc.delcur.com
that is temporary until they get 1 pointed in the A name.
actually have a few setup on different sites but that is the shortest & easiest to remember.

so everyone knows you can use your cell also to connect to irc when you wish to keep in touch. & or kill some time.
we all know what its like using your cell browsing forum.
I can't handle it gets too slow on a cell unless im on a wifi link its a tad faster.

With a couple mods bouncing on the chat & we have a few daily users always sticking around... hit it up & join in
you can also use a web connect such as mibbit also.

If your curious for a app for your phone hit me up & i will gladly browse sites for a decent 1. Just PM me...

MIBBIT USERS Are having issue due to everyone getting same information connecting..
Will be trying to fix shortly..
But if your using mibbit please switch to something else I will be trying to find a easy webchat interface to use.

MIBBIT Currently Fixed for users to start connecting again..

If you must use mibbit feel free.
I honestly suggest using a client instead but for you to try it see if you like it.

Your Mibbit link is borked. If you're using Firefox, you can just click this link and it will work automagically.

My tiny url link was filtered out of ecf to help prevent spam.
