IRC is still growing in population, but we need more people to make it more fun! Join it if you want a shout-box style chat room with more features. It takes ~5 mins to set it up. Hell, even Elendil got it set up, so anyone can.

For Mac users, the best I have seen so far is XChat Aqua. Closest to a mIRC client i can find with the options needed.
I think ECF should just put a chatroom on the site....I hate all that IRC stuff8-o
Even easier than before - A link with the channel already filled out that should work in all modern browsers: ECF IRC channel
Perhaps this could be stickied somewhere, or even posted as a link on the main forum list?
