Well, about a five months ago, I wrote a a heartfelt letter to the President outlining my oposition to the current "war" against e-cigs. I told him that the American people know he battles with smoking, and that some senators have sent him e-cigs to help his cravings. Now, in October, I get his reply. A letter, the size of a wedding invitation, with the worst form reply I could imagine. It spoke nothing to the points I made. And lets not forget the computer generated signature. Oh well. I should have expected as much.

My best,
-VP

well you really can't expect the president of the united states to have time to hand write a letter to everyone that writes him? honestly i would never expect them to even have the time to read them. It's not all golfing and hanging out at the bars.

I didnt expect a hand written letter from him. I guess I thought maybe, just maybe, I would get a response that spoke to the point of my letter. Not a response that would fit anything. It makes you feel as if your voice wasnt heard, but that your letter was put into a pile marked "Complaint about Something".
If they dont have the time to read them, then I would suggest they remove their mailbox and stop giving the people of America the false sense that they give a crap by saying "write to the President!"... just saying. At this point I couldnt care less really. I only responded to your post for clearification.

My best,
-VP
