1st. Throw away your lighter! That will help not lighting analogs
Really though at first for the initial couple of months I had the same urge to go outside and smoke even though I no longer smoked or even desired a cig. I think it becomes so engrained in our mindset about when and where we will be able to get that next cig in along the way. Or how we break our day up based on smoke breaks and lunch time cigs. Once you no longer need to plan your next smoke or go someplace special to do it breaking that habit in itself if hard. Subconsciously our minds have been set to years of conditioning for when we'll get that next nic fix.
Try what I did. Go outside like you normally would for a smoke and leave the vape inside. Just go outside and enjoy the fresh air for a few and realize you no longer need to smoke just because you are there. After a few the feeling of needing to go smoke lessens as you go outside and don't smoke or vape at all. Makes you realize you are just taking a break for the sake of taking a break and that you don't need a cig your mod is inside ready to go.
Then when you go back inside you don't stink either
