I'm a great fan of parody religions, I like the Flying Spaghetti Monster, that has a laugh at creationism - Flying Spaghetti Monster - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. The Church of Google is very funny too - » The Church of Google - "... the search engine Google is the closest humankind has ever come to directly experiencing an actual God ..."

This is a good little intellectual test to see if your ideas on god are philosophically consistent - The Do-It-Yourself Deity.

This forum was described as the First Church of Esmoking once. Many of us are evangelists when it comes to getting off cigs and onto ecigs. We have our experienced esmokers - gurus if you like. So are we a cult or a religion? Does a cult become a religion when there are a certain number of converts? Hopefully esmoking won't be banned before we get to critical mass. If it is banned we'll have to have a secret society instead.

Maybe we should have dogma, tenets and rituals to keep us busy. We could have silly handshakes like the Freemasons.

Bless you all

I consulted I Ching about my present situation in which both my Foggers died and I had to take all the other batteries out of the cold, recharge them and start using the various devices I amassed. The question was aimed at how this influences my stop-smoking effort/state. Now, this is interesting, because you do not type your question in there, just throw coins:

53. Gradual Development
Line 4:
The geese gradually advance to the trees.
Some will find a flat branch.
Without fault.

Being temporarily in an unusual situation, that one needs to deal with in a provisional manner. Nothing wrong with that.

:D
