The LUC is an awesome charger!

I dont know what you mean about the springs, but these are very nice. Smooth but holds the batt tight. You'll love it.

Hmm.. havent had that happen yet on eFest purples or Sony VTC5s. What amps did you charge at?

No matter what battery or what charge setting my batteries were consistently 4.5V+ off the charger

Thats not good... Mine are 4.22v off the charger, 4.19-4.2 after a rest.

Love these guys, I'll probably order from them if I'll choose the EFEST.

I'm using Nitecore at home and there's no chance getting a 18650 battery inside with one hand, I'm not planning to do that while I'm driving but still I rather have something much easier/smoother in the car.
