smaller containers would be better so you are not needing to thaw(or better to say bring to room temp) whole amount every time you want to mix juice...again a matter of less air and light exposure

That was what i was getting at. Separate it into 250 ml or smaller bottles and take out what you need at the time

Since i don't wanna deal with pure nicotine (or well 100mg+)
How long would a 50/50 blend at 24/36mg last me in the freezer? About the same as 100% PG?
I'd like to stock up some "premade" juice sort of, just att flavor to them.

Or is 100mg nic stuff the only thing that's worth stocking up on?
There's a page that sells 1 litre for about 10$ I'm not sure how good their quality is though, so i've to read up on that before i buy anything for that specific vendor. Also i don't think swedish custom allows 100mg nic.

I would suggest freezing nicotine only. Thing is, our taste change. What if you mix 500ml of your favorite juice but in 6 months you won't like it anymore? :)

1 litre of 100mg nicotine for 10$? Stay away from it, sounds too good to be true.

No the 50/50 blend at 24mg would cost me 24$ i was looking at stock price /facepalm.
But still cheap as hell.

And my idea was not to blend and store it. I would store it pure 50/50 blend to take out say 100ml when needed and then make couple of flavours of those 100ml.
It seems so much of a hassle to dilute the the whole thing if i would store pure mg pg.
How much VG would be needed to make 24mg 50/50 pg/vg? incase i had pure PG (also what nic should the bg be? 48?)
Still new to all this so i'm going to start out with a basic beginner set first ofc. But i just wanted to know if it's an good idea to store 50/50 blends or if 100% PG is the only way to go. (Can buy 300ml vg at the local pharma for about 10$)

edit:
"PG is made from animal and/or petroleum-based oils" Ehum petroleum? Unless i'm missing something that can't be safe can it? Guess i'll skip that vendor. I saw it got recommended on FT forums.
Edit2: I'll scrap that idea i think. 33$ in shipping costs. Or is ~ 57$ still a good price for 1L of base?

Madvapes Blog - Nicotine Concentration Over Time

Too bad they stopped the test at 4 months, however I would still conclude that nicotine will be fine for long-term in the refrigerator and not the freezer.

By week 5 at Room Temp Window Sill Open Bottle it went down to 3mg but no worries coz at week 6 it jumped back up to 34mg

purity and quality of the nicotine base should not be sacrificed ...a friend recently purchased some nic base on "flash sale" that looked dark and had a nasty road tar smell and taste..and I have seen other reports of the same here on the forums...that being said I would think that premixed base would last just as long if properly stored..it would just take up much more space. PG and VG can be stored in a dark cabinet or a shelf in a closet. I strongly suggest using a good company like Wizard Labs, or Nude Nicotine for your base be it premixed or 100MG nicotine...Just my honest opinion

the ejuicemeup calculator (free download) would tell you exactly how much PG/VG and nicotine would be needed for a liter of base at different MG levels :) and only use Pharmaceutical grade products

google ecig calculator, plenty everywhere that will help you calculate what you need!

Use USP PG only, it is safe, check out this thread for more info:

I've read of one member reporting that their nic is good after 4 years in the freezer. Can't remember who it was but the avatar is colorful.

My freezer is stocked with 60mg nic, I don't like dealing with 100mg, pets, clumsy, etc. The way I do it is this-
Buy big bottle of nic
Transfer to 60ml glass bottles (a good working size for me), leaving about 1/4" of air in the neck of the bottle. I use phenolic polyseal caps.
LABEL all the bottles with vendor, nic strength, date
Then I put the bottle in a zip-lock, put them in a small box and label the box.
Rotate stock.

When I need a bottle, I pull one out of the oldest batch.

I do encourage you to test the nic first. For smell, taste, etc. You should also have a test kit. http://www.eliquidtest.com/BuyNow.aspx

I'm abit anxious of handling 100mg so for me i'd prolly go 60 at highest if i would buy bulk up for long term storage.

100mg nic needs to be treated carefully and with respect, but it's not nitroglycerine.
IMO, you should get comfortable with the DIY process using a lower strength nicotine, and then make your storage grade choices.

For storage purposes, whether it's 60 mg/ml or 100 doesn't matter. Feel free to use 60 if that makes you more comfortable, the only consideration is that it requires more storage space to store the same weight of nicotine.

At first, I usually recommend people start with 60 or even lower until they're comfortable handling the stuff. I did. And with either 60 or 100, you should be wearing gloves and eye protection at the absolute minimum. I also make sure I'm wearing long sleeves.

Yea i've got some base now, all i'm missing is some good VG with nic. Then i'm all set to start learning. I've been reading alot and i've alot more reading to do :)

Yea i know, funny though when you watch youtubers for example. They never wear safety equipment... But maybe they don't use such high concentrations. Well i would say i'm abit clumsy so i will definetly start lower than high. And i'm a "rather safe than sorry" guy so i would definetly use gloves & glasses if i were handling such high ammounts.

I'm not in a dire need of stockpiling (yet) as some people in the US. The biggest threat we've got atm is regulation of e ciggs back to cig-alikes or tank with 2ml max capacity and you would need a reciept to be able to buy them. it's gonna be a "quit smoking" device regulated by the pharma... But i'll bet the juice will be taxxed eventually without doubt.

I've seen online soap makers handle water-discounted (low water) lye solutions without protective equipment. In this case, it's a great way to lose an eye or a child.

Nicotine isn't nearly as dangerous. It's not caustic, but is toxic (lye is caustic but not toxic). Fortunately, it absorbs through skin fairly slowly at the levels we use to DIY and you have time to get to a sink, wash, and call that a "whoops" with no consequences.

So yes, please ignore those YouTubers and wear some safety equipment. :) It renders a whoops down to a shrug and a minor clean-up.

We're still waiting, the budget office kicked the FDA's regulations back to them as too harsh. Personally, I already have seven years of nic in the freezer at my current level.

We're do you store your food? xD
I got pretty tiny freezer :( I'd assume one storage rack would hold 5-6 Litre bottles and i've 4 racks :p
Oh well :) Incase i'm going the bulky way of handling it. I'll prolly buy another freezer (lol) to hold em. But the problem is i live in an appartment, not a house. :(

Well i won't be stocking anytime soon (hopefully depends on regulations, hehe) And i'll just be learning how to DIY.

And yeah i know nic isn't that dangerous but it's still something that needs to be treated with respect. :)
