I usually clean my nova after two tanks but I figured unflavored wouldn't gunk up the coils as fast so I went through about 5. When I dumped out the remaining bit of juice it was light brown. I find that really odd because my unflavored is crystal clear. I cleaned and dry burned it and it's working stellar. Just curious how the liquid turned light brown.

No I think the liquid itself turns color from the heating. The nova heats more liquid than it can vaporize, probably because of the top coil. I doubt it's of great concern.

That makes a lot of sense. It had a slight strange flavor to it as well so it was definitely overdue for a cleaning heh. I'll just clean after every two tanks even with the unflavored.

Good call. I clean after 2 tanks max with my novas. The taste and TH are just so much better that way.

Absolutely. I just figured with unflavored the rule could be stretched to 5 heh.

Oh snap I forgot bro..

Glycol is basically sugar, which when heated caramelizes or turns brown. So even an unflavored nicotine will eventually brown just because of the glycol it's suspended in.

And for the overly technical, while glycol (or glycerol, or glycerine) are not exactly sugar, the most common type of diols are sugars and share essentially the same properties when heated.
