Hi all,

I havn't been here in quite a long time. I was vaping exclusively for several months, no regular cigs, then I went on vacation and fell off the wagon. So, now I'm back and ready to give up the butts again. I bought a bottle of Liquid Express Honey Tobacco. Figured I'd get some new juice for my return to vaping. It came today, and there is warning on the side of the bottle saying that the product contains chemicals known to cause cancer. I have juice from several different vendors in the past and I have never seen this warning on their products before. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

How very odd. I've never heard of a vendor putting such a warning on their juice. Here's a "Cautions and Care" disclaimer from their website:

E-Liquids Cautions and Care

It is not recommended that you use nicotine if you have any of the following health conditions because it may cause complications.

a. heart disease, an irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure or chest pain;
b. a jaw condition called TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disease;
c. an overactive thyroid;
d. diabetes;
e. liver or kidney disease;
f. Asthma or chronic pulmonary disease.
g. Pregnant. Nicotine can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby.

No mention of cancer, but the above is still more warning than I've seen on any other vendor's site. I suppose they wish to be responsible and conscientious, but I do think they took it a little far with the cancer bit. I'm not aware of any evidence which suggests that e-liquid has any cancer-causing agents.

thoughtful and wordsmythe,

The cancer warning appears on all three 30ml blue dropper bottles I have from LiquidXpress: Berry Tobacco and HFC (Honey Flue Cured) bought last year, and Taboo bought recently. It's a California legal thing. Here is the complete warning (which is printed across the top of back half of the label):

PROPOSITION 65 WARNING:

This product contains chemicals known to the State of California
to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
