Were you using a pre-filled cart or are you filling your own with bottled nic liquid?

If the former, you may have just sucked too hard or it might be that your battery isn't fully charged. If the liquid has dripped into the atomizer and isn't heated/vaporized, you'll get that.

If you filled yourself or are dripping straight onto the atomizer, you may have used too much. It takes a little practice and experience to get it all just right.

Don't get frustrated, we all get a mouthful of liquid once in a while for any or all of the above reasons.

Make sure your batteries are fully charged, draw just hard enough to light the LED (indicating the atomizer is receiving power) and if/when you fill your carts, don't fill so much that the liquid starts to "pool" in the cart. You want the cart material wet, but not soaked.

I recommend having a tissue or paper towel around to dab your lips/tongue when that happens. Nicotine liquid is a poison if ingested in large quantities. You may also notice it'll give you hiccups if you get too much unvaporized liquid in your mouth/throat.
