Liquid Mixing Question

I've ordered a number of liquids to refill cartomizers and had what I think is a basic question I haven't seen in the first 80 pages of posts...

Is there a mixing issue with liquids if I use the same PG/VG ratio and nicotine level? I like cherry flavor, but I don't like CHERRY flavor, you see. I'd like to add a drop to the cart, let it mix, and have something like cherry mint or cherry whatever.

I know I'll have to mix the liquids thoroughly and let them settle into the cart, so that's not an issue.

there's nothing to say you can't do this, but remember that if you're adding PG or VG to dilute the flavour (I would recommend VG as this mutes flavour more than PG), you'll also be diluting the nicotine strength of the liquid.

If you're adding it to a cartomizer then it really won't mix with the other juice very well. Best to get a 1 ml syringe (blunt tip) and add small quantities in a bottle that way. Also to test juices use an atomizer- much easier to clean.

It should be fine, but I would definitely mix the flavors together outside of the cart first, then put them in the cart; otherwise, they don't seem to mix that well inside the cart

It might be better mixed if you just added the two together and then filled the caro. But I have added a different flavor juice to a carto before, it wasn't bad. Just better mixed before I filled it up.

You could even do it in the condom as you were filling it. It is the easier way to fill one: just drip into the rubber end pieces, then slowly put your carto threaded end in slowly and it fills it right up. When it is "juicy" at the top you are good to blow the excess back into the condom, wipe off the threads and no waiting for it to soak in. There are videos on youtube that will show you how to refill your cartos using the condom method.

I think you are asking if you can simply add one drop of cherry flavoring to an already filled cart? I really can't say for sure but I don't think it would work all that great, at best hit and miss, but who knows? The worst that could happen is you are out one cart. I would think with a tank system it would work. It would slightly reduce the Nic level but so what? By the end of the cart you still vaped the same amount of nic.

I say go for it and let us know how it worked.

I just started mixing. I really like strawberry and banana. I have only done it with a tank and get really good results. I think the key is to mix before you start dripping. With the tank I can mix in the tank so it's really easy.

Awesome, thanks! The cherry is also 12 mg nic, so I won't be diluting myself down. On Day 2 I'm definitely not yet comfortable with the idea of mixing my own liquids, but you know that's coming, don't you?

I looked up the condom method (boy, do I have to slip that statement into casual conversation!) and I'll use that after pre-mixing with a toothpick or something, or just making a separate bottle.

Other hobbies include lotion and soapmaking, so I have tons of small empty bottles kicking around. It's nice to find yet another use for those.

Just drip it into the bottle and give it a good shaking. No need to use a toothpick
