I recently decided to dissolve some Splenda in my PG/VG and I have noticed my coils are getting a large amount of gunk on them after 1-2 days of vaping, where as I can usually go 3-4 weeks without even a hair of bother from my coil.

Are the other chemicals that are used in the production of Splenda leaving the residue on my coil eventually causing burnt tasting hits? I'm assuming this would be the case and I should simply order Sucralose and Ethyl Malto from my supplier.

Just looking for a confirmation!

I just ordered a free sample of EZSweetz, actually it costs $0.01 plus $2.95 shipping and handling. It'll probably last over a year.

Results for Request a FREE Sample

They accept paypal! I never tried any added sweetener before, but I was only mixing fruity flavors that were plenty sweet already. Now I'm swimming in the murky waters of tobacco mixes, sweetener could come in handy.

I haven't tried it, so don't know if it gunks coils, but it is in liquid form when you start off, that has to count for something, huh?

Wow. That's some potent stuff. Just 1 drop = '2 teaspoons Equivalent Sugar Sweetness '.
Some very very crude numbers, but...
2 teaspoons would sweeten a glass of iced tea, say 10oz. 10oz = roughly 300ml. That stuff would need to be diluted down 10:1 to use 1 drop in a 30ml batch of juice. Very crude numbers as I said, but - that's some potent stuff.

Have you tried it yet?

Ez-sweetz does not have any fillers in it like the powdered Splenda does. Splenda adds (uh...) maltodextrin and dextrose (I think). The reason it contains fillers is because otherwise the amount would be too tiny to measure or shake out of a packet. These fillers are the reason Splenda has a tiny amount of calories. Sucralose itself is calorie free.

The fillers will burn and gunk up your coils. Try the ez-sweetz. I use it in my liquids and in my coffee. Love it! You might actually need to dilute it somewhat if you are making small batches of liquid. I use about 1 drop per 100ml liquid.

The above poster is correct. Splenda and sugar-like powders in general tend to have some starchy ingredient added that prevent the ingredients from sticking together. Basically an anti-cake product. You can opt for the liquid version (if there is one) or better yet, get Stevia, which I know comes in liquid form and is more natural.
