When English is a second language it must be a bit crazy trying to make sense out of all of our "slang".
I was once told in Spanish that I don't have hair on my tongue! I should hope not! I was quite upset..until the lady explained it meant I speak my mind.
What phases confuse you?

I will start, Via Con Dios, we all know it means go with God..what about God bless you or Gesundheit . What do you say when someone sneezes in Spanish..wait! I mean what do you say in Spanish when someone sneezes!
OK Now I know what a dangling participle is!

Also, I know that in Spanish, A word is given male or female staus..so you know to say corinos..instead of corinas..(meaning little endearments) So how the heck do they decide that corinos..is a boy word?
