Why yes...I would and thank you for asking me to respond here instead of in a PM!
The beauty of this post is that we all know each other maybe with the exception of KBK, and we are all experienced Vapors. It's no secret what the long-standing V4L policy is when it comes to refunds on Juice and Cartos. If there is a manufacturers defect with the cartos or the wrong juice/nic level ends up in your order, you can get a refund. However, there are NO Refunds just because you don't like the juice.
That being said, C.S. has made exceptions for bottles that have leaked while in transit, on a few occasions last winter for altered taste due to freezing. On even rarer occasions for mislabled bottles and isolated incidents where regular customers with a known order history have noted that their Go-To juices seemed so different, they were unvapable. (Luma comes to mind)
What advice do we give all newbies when it comes to trying out new flavors? See if you can get a single Carto from somebody off the Swap Sticky or buy prefilled Cartos before buying a bottle. Did you follow that advice? Did you ever hit the Board or the Swap Sticky up about either of these flavors? No, you by your own admission took a gamble.
So when you contacted C.S. did they answer the phone in a professional manner, address your issue, and follow the stated company policy? Yes. It wasn't that C.S. didn't understand, it was the fact that you were upset that they were not making an exception for you. Or as you put it, "I'm not getting that top customer service I'm used to." Of course your argument was that, "It's not that I don't like it, but I can tell it tastes funny...there's something wrong with it". Really? How would you know if 2 of the 3 flavors you have tasted funny if you had never tried them before?
Who cares whether you are willing to return the bottles to them, "No questions asked", whatever that means? They can't resell them. The only real item you can speak to with any firsthand knowledge is the one flavor you are familiar with. Instead of simply acknowledging the fact that you took a gamble....and lost, a fact you later admitted to. You opted for Plan B, to put up a complaint post, questioning not only the integrity and level of C.S. V4L provides but inferring that the C.S. rep was inept because, "he's not getting it" when all he did was his job.
Of course there was a Plan C but it wouldn't draw enough squeaky wheel attention. Take the 2 bottles you had gambled on and put them up on the Swap Sticky. Then simply PM'd Mark, who would see your profile and order history then simply explained to him that the Kamel seemed way off. Giving Mark the opportunity to hook you up with another bottle. But apparently Plan C never made it to the table.
So now that Plan B has come together and Mark (bless his heart) hooked you up with 3 more bottles...it turns out that, "2 of the 3 still have the same weird taste." In a grand gesture you have stated, "I'm not going to bother to press the issue any further, because in my opinion, V4L did their best to rectify the problem." That's almost as magnanimous as stating, "It's partly my fault for buying unfamiliar juices, but thanks to the sale, I'm not out all that much."
Well gee....I'm so glad you are not out, "all that much". But what about V4L and how much they are out? Oh that's right, who cares? As long as
you aren't out that much, that's all that really counts...isn't it? You know, especially since you bought those bottles on sale.
Amazing....
Green Tea: Tastes like a mix of formaldehyde and Potpourri Perfume...gee how'd did I know that? Must have been a lucky guess....it's not for me...but I'm sure there are those that would say the same thing about some flavors I like.
