So many mods coming out next 2 months it's either hide your credit card or go broke lol

It's getting crazy just trying to keep them all sorted. I'm happy to see more changeable batt mods coming out. But I'd like to know what chip I'm being offered if it's a startup brand.

My next one is a toss up between MVP 3.0 Pro or the joyetech Evic VT.

The bonus came through at work and I don't known when I'll have the cash to buy a back-up for my istick 50W; There's nothing wrong with it, I've just gotten used to the battery life and not having to charge something every day. I was just going to get the MVP Pro, but then Joyetech had to go and throw out the Evic VT, and it would be a good way to test out Temperature Control. The New Evic is closer to the istick 50W form factor, so I'm really leaning towards that one.

Hey, that's my little eGrip! :D

I wonder how they are doing on the road to lil itty bitty popularity...

Cherry red, right? I thought that was you.
Did you keep it? How'd you like it?
I discovered they take GS coils which makes them pretty handy.
Then I read that they leak. Huh? Still?
(sigh) I'm still looking.

Really they take GS coils? Then it's worth a try, although I don't like the tank, changing flavors will be a nightmare, plus the batt is not replaceable!

They do take the gsair coil, and they do tend to leak. Filling isn't as easy as they say because the two holes don't always let air in while juice is flowing in. All that said, it is still my favorite device to take on the run. Good battery life, small as can be, no worries about the tank coming off the mod in my purse or pocket and extremely stealthy.

Do the OLED egrips work the same? Have they made any improvements (other than oled)? I love the colors and would get another, but only if v2 is significantly better than v1.

yea, I'm not buying coils for just one tank. This makes a difference. There's not many review vids on egrip.

I wish they'd get something working before moving on to the next big thing.

using the GS coils I haven't ever had leaking from my eGrip.. and as long as you fill slowly, it's pretty easy to refill the tank from the side ports.

I use mine for only cinnamon juices - still working like a champ since December!

the OLED version was released quietly! I want one for sure.

Glad you got one.
How are your 510 threads? Mine seem to be low quality. I have used my Kangar Sub Tank Mini on it so i don`t have to always change tanks..

Osso, I mounted five tanks; Nautilus, Atlantis, Herakles and two Kayfuns clones. All made good contact with the floating center pin and sat flush on the mod. I learned long ago that 510 connectors were poorly designed and only recent improvements have mitigated the design flaws. Also learned that they need to be handled carefully, tightened just enough to make contact with the center pin. If you're concerned about damaging threads you can get a 510/510 adapter, very inexpensive, that will avoid connecting directly to the mod.

Yeppers, that was moi. :)

So far, I have wanted to keep it. That could change, but I feel like giving it a bit more time as it's really been quite easy to use. I only had a prob filling it the first time, and that was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO user error! As in embarrassingly so. I turned the tank right side up...... without closing it. D'oh!

I remember hearing/seeing that you can use the GS Air coils, but I don't now remember if there's anything special you have to do. Solace, you just exchange one coil for the other?

I've been using the Aspire BVCs in it. I did NOT like the original coil. You do have to swap the center pins of the coils, but even for a "professional modder" such as I, it was really a piece of cake. If anyone does decide to do this, just a word to the wise. Don't toss out the swapped center pin when discarding the spent BVC!

Mine has not leaked even a droplet. And Susaz, I haven't changed flavors, but it seems it would be quite straightforward and not a pain at all. Nope, the batt is fixed, as it is in so many of our current selection of itty bittys.

pokes, I've found the air hole to be doing its job when I fill it. You do have to prolly go a bit slower than other tanks, but it's not gushed out or caused me sleepless nites...... yet. ;)

I never had a V1, so I'm certainly unqualified to make any judgement calls on the diffs between them.

All in all, she's a cutie, and she's growing on me. :D

I got my Coolfire IV. First impressions: How can it weigh so much? Smaller and less mah than the MVP and it is 6 gram heavier!

WOW!!! The information in this thread continues to be amazing!!!

I was going to post that I PIF'd my MVP2's (after getting my [first] 30W-iStick) because they felt like bricks...and then ask jefs if he was considering the Coolfire IV.

But before I could post...Capt. posts that the Coolfire IV is even heavier than the MVP!

(Oh well...back to the "drawing board"...)

Darn on the weight. Double darn. No wonder there were no weights listed that I could find. :(
Nice size, great shape, Innokin brand a plus IMHO and fun colors --- but not another brick. Me thinks the new Kanger will be brick like, too.

Maybe I will pick up a couple of the newer iStick mini's afterall. :)

I invested in several uCan for some time now, and although small they're great, plus they don't leak at all. Should be enough to refill the eGrip without any hassles.

To be fair, it carries and feels a lot better than the MVP. It cradles and rest naturally in the palm. It doesn't feel brick like. But, the scale doesn't lie. For her size, she isn't exactly height-weight proportionate. Given these shortcomings, I'm liking it over all and the royal red is really pleasing.
