My kwestion as well, Capt. What is the weight?

Very kool that you got one, and the red is yummy! I think you might be our first CF4'er?

Sus, I haven't rinsed the tank with the eGrip (yet). I've only filled it a coupla times and with the same vliquid (my ADV-EDV NiteLiteVapor Gold, of course!).

I imagine tho, that a quick squirt of warm water would do the trick. :)

Here is an itty bitty (83*40*23mm), 50W w/temp control, interchangeable 18650, $38-45.

So how much does the Coolfire4 actually weigh? The eGrip is a hunk of metal, but I like the weight. Feels solid.

147 grams without a 510. Which is the same as an mvp 2 with a built in 510/ego fitting. Adding a small (not the supplied) 510/ego adaptor to make things equal and the CF IV is 153 grams.

That's not too bad... I don't mind hefty. :D Unless it's really hefty, like their misbegotten VTR, which weighs 327g--almost a pound with an atty in place.

In other news--just received a Defender 36W and I'm very pleased. It's hefty, but not too hefty. It's about the same height and weight as my ProVari mini (118 g vs 124g) and it accommodates my larger atties with no overhang at all. And it's fooscha. Rather alarming shade of fooscha, if I may add. Doesn't go with my nail polish at all, but it's OK--it's time to change to my summer nude nail polish anyway. Other than that, it seems to be very well made and feels solid and very comfortable in my hand.

So now you know.

Carry on!

Ha! No, it is no VTR. It really doesn't feel that heavy in the hand but I just have to think that there is a lot of extra material. I know some people feel that a heavier device feels "solid" in your hand but it matters how you make it heavy. If it is just superfluous metal then it is just adding weight. I'm not getting any younger and the lighter the device the less strain on the hand and the less likely hood of dropping it. I suspect I'll be seeing the inside of this thing within a week or so. It will be interesting to see what is in there.

Over all, I am liking the device quite a bit. It really does just kind of sit in the hand.

Love the Defender and the Invader thanks to the collars that accomodate the very long pin of the Tugboat V2, and I can get it into a lanyard. For the size I prefer the iStick 30.

Eleaf makes a "leather" case for the istick 20/30 that has a loop on it for lanyards. I use it all the time when I don't want to carry a purse.

Yes, I have one. If the tank is heavy it tips. I removed one of the screws on the top and put a little hook on it, you can get them from shoe stores. Since it's very thin the cap doesn't barely show any cracks.

I received my CF-IV yesterday, been vaping on it like mad and loving it. Yes, it is a bit heavy but it doesn't bother me, I'm a big guy. Put the black o-rings in my Kanger subtank mini to match, it also matches my cat in the photo sleeping on her black blanket. (At least I hope my photo uploads, it's been a while. :))

Damn, I really wanted the Coolfire IV... I mean, I still do. But the fact that its bigger than the iStick 30, doesn't have more battery life than it, and is somewhat heavy.... I dunno. The MVP was pretty dang heavy. I may hold off on buying it for now... maybe get the Kanger Subox instead since it looks pretty small AND it goes to 50w. Ok actually mainly, I just want an attractive, SMALL, mod that comes in red. I guess I don't really NEED anything at this moment so I'll wait for Coolfire IV Mini (hopefully).

The only thing that makes me want one is the loop, I can get a lanyard through. I miss my PV hanging from my neck, specially doing chores around the house and driving.

I was going to ask if that was a loop. The pics I saw didn't make it very clear. But a cool feature.
