I have heard of the lousey Gearbest shipping and customer service, so we shall see.
What amazes me is that it is so simple to put a better spin on a response to a shipping delay query like -
We are so sorry to hear that you have not yet received your item. Typical shipping time is xxxxx but sometimes it can be delayed. Unfortunately we cannot control delivery of the package once it has been turned over to the shipper. If you have not received your item by yyyyyyy we would be happy to ship you another item or refund your purchase price.
Still a canned response but shows sympathy for the situation and possible next steps for the future.
If I had received what I consider a better response from gearbest I would most likely have been more willing work with them before filing a dispute.

I agree completely. And I thank you for the warning.

Someone just Offered to send me a Wismec Presa.

:thumb:
Lucky you! I surely wish someone would be so lovely and kind to me! I was looking for something like that, after all! Well...congratulations! Do let us know what you think about it? I really shouldn't order anything for another week or two. I'm so jealous!!! :toast:

[Define cheap? I love my istick 30 and it's been flawless.]

Heatwave Defender and Innokin Cool Fire 4 would be good choices.

Totally agree about the iStick30 and CF4, both excellent. If someone really wants lightweight, the iStick30 is hard to beat. Both of them have great battery life too; when I first saw "2200/2000 mah" I thought they'd be comparable to my 2250/2000 mah 18650s, but they're AT LEAST double in battery life, if not even more. As I said the other night, I ran one of my CF4s for 2 full days, and the voltage was still at 3.88v. My 18650s were good for maybe 6 hrs.

Yay, finally a USB dustcover. I like the on/off button too, getting tired of the 5 click. Lol, I'm barely that co-ordinated in the AM. Does anyone yet trust using USB charging with a replaceable battery yet??

Many moons ago, I ordered these. I did not know if I would remember to use them, yet I actually have.

Just FYI, I didn't order from Amazonia, but did get both the mini USB and the micro USB.

Hassle? Yeah. But doable. :)

Amazon.com: USB Protective Cover for Type A Jacks, Pkg/10: Computers & Accessories

PS. I LOVE on/off switches on mods! A simple rarity.

Not me :)

Why risk it on an after-thought "feature" when I have good chargers designed for that one purpose? (And a lot of freshly charged ones to pop right in?)

Yes yes yes, agreed agreed agreed.

I like to save Money where I can. It gives me the Ability to Buy MORE Stuff. LOL

But here is what is Frustrating about buying from someone like Fasttech....

USPS.com® - USPS Tracking®

Sure... I did save 10 Bucks by getting what I did. But that $10 will probably go towards a New Keyboard because I have Bashed Mine a Few Times waiting for this Tracking to do Something. Anything.

 Love it!

I ordered a Pressa this morning from Gearbest. Going out of town on business for a month and mail is held at the post office, so I am in no rush. My birthday is coming and that's my present ;)

Happy pre-Birthday, clnire!

The 'Burgh, PA.
I like the rounded Kbox mini (like the Defender) a bit better for 'feel in hand'.

Rounded edges => better "feel in hand". That's a concept I hadn't considered Kent.

When you mention "the Defender"...are you referring to the (older) Defender-36W or the (newer) Defender-50W? (or...both...)

Have you seen the pictures of the "new" iStick 60W TC? Does it look like it has the "rounded edges" that you're talking about?

[Note: code 5%downforyou would make it $29.44]

The ZoiD has good karma credits.

That may have been So.

But the Member who did this went Above and Beyond the Small Kindness I extended them. And I am Truly Grateful.

This IS a Great Forum!

Could be.... The Ola X scales at 198 grams, without battery. Yes, it is "hefty", but has a good feel in the hand.

Next time it's open, make sure the head is securely seated on the base. And not sure about the STmini, but the original (big) Subtank had a shaped o-ring at the bottom that, if put in upside down, would leak...

Thank you :) It seems to be doing much better, as long as I keep it close to full. I am not sure why that is... but whatever works, right?
