Just some WISMEC Presa TC75W news: According to Rip Tripper's review, there is no step-down for those that wish to run it in wattage mod

As a tootle puffer...who's been "watching" the WISMEC Presa TC75W...that's somewhat disappointing.
Guess I was mislead by its product page...that specifically notes "Output Wattage: 1-75W"...

Presa TC75W - Wismec Electronics Co.,Ltd

the Kbox mini doesn't have a spring loaded center pin. Kanger opted for a nice sealed - a bit 'spongy' but not spring loaded. The 'feedback' made them rethink (I think) and according to Phil and to me - Wayne at heaven gifts - the next version will be spring loaded

I, too, have been waiting for the KBOX Mini with a spring-loaded pin (and for the availability of buying the mod without the tank).

Ran across this KBOX Mini Platinum...that is 60W, has TC...and does have a "Spring loaded 510".

It does appear to look like the KBOX Mini. (Unfortunately...I have yet to find its dimensions.)

Code 5%downforyou makes it $47.49...

I thought that all these vacuum based tanks need some airspace when filled or they will leak?

Dunno?

Just to see what would happen. I filled my Top Fill Subtank until e-liquid came out off the Opposite Fill Hole. Then Capped it. I couldn't even See a Bubble when I Turned it Upside/Rightside Up. LOL

Didn't leak at All.

But that was just One Instance. And maybe an e-liquid with a Different Viscosity or a RBA that was Wicked Differently would have? Or maybe the Vaping God's smiled on me that Day because Earlier I helped someone get their eGo One figured Out here on the ECF?

Like I said, I dunno?

BTW - I have 6 or 7 Subtanks in Various Configurations of Orginal RBA, RBA Plus, Clone Base, Non-Clone Base, OEM Glass, Knock-Off Glass, Original Seals, FT Seals, Top Fill and Bottom Fill.

The Only Leak I ever had was when I was Showing someone In Person how to Build the RBA Section. And I forgot to Screw on the Cover to the RBA Barrel before putting the Tank On.

I hadn't ever done that Before. And I haven't do it Again since. Just once when I had someone sitting their Listening and Watching Intently to Everything I did.

LOL

The vtc mini a bit 'boxy' but not bad. The istick not quite wide enough and one flat side. eGrip too wide as is the VT(heavy). Defender 50W (with replaceable batt) - good, but the Kbox mini is at the top - no TC (not needed at 13W), replaceable batt, nice magnetic door, button nice, lighter than most - all practical and feel stuff, but it all falls on how one holds a mod. I'm guessing the D2 would be close - although more like the Defender 50 than the Kbox mini.

Hey...Kent...any thoughts/experiences with the Cloupor Mini Plus?

I recently bought a Defender 50W and a VTC Mini. Although they're small and comfortable...they still feel a "little big". (I know...I know...I'm probably spoiled by the size/weight of the iStick-30W's in my rotation.)

Although its edges are mildly tapered (and not rounded)...it appears to be one of the smaller mods being sold.

Ranked by volume (mm³)...(with Depth x Width x Height in mm)...

iStick-30W 21 x 32.5 x 77... 52,553
iStick-TC40W 22.3 x 36.2 x 77.3... 62,401
Cloupor Mini Plus 22 x 37 x 78.5...63,899
eVic VTC Mini 22.2 x 38.2 x 82...69,539
KBOX Mini 22 x 39 x 82... 70,356
HV Defender-50W 23 x 38 x 85... 74,290
HV Defender-36W 25 x 35 x 85... 74,375

I didn't see the IPV D2 on your list or did I miss an UPDATE? Or maybe it will be in the 17 new ones. ;)

As for having too many mods...not possible. :D

Welp, the list was given to the public quite awhile back, TMC. What's become of it, at this point, I dunno. Anyone is free to add or edit now. :)

I see it's at FT. I hate FT. :-x

Oh hon! Don't hold back. Say what you REALLY feel.

The curved sides of the Kbox mini is like a glove fit for my 'fist hold' - small, stealthy. The Heatvape Defender 25/36W is very similar, but internal batt. GRRRRRRRRRRRR. I'm going to have one someday....... and it IS all your fault!!!!

So, Gerry. I have my new (ECF prize winning dark orange) Clouper Mini +, and I also have a few Defenders, including the 50. Handfeel wise, the Defender STILL wins. Weight wise, yeppers, again, the Defender.

Is the little Clawpurr cute and highly functional? Yes, it actually is. It reminds me oh so much of my very first box mod, the Bartleby.

I'm not sure many here would even remember THAT little cutie pie.

Left to Right:

Hey...Kent...any thoughts/experiences with the Cloupor Mini Plus?

I have held the Cloupor Mini but no experience with the Plus or the D2 - just 'comparisons' from others and pics/specs. Our closest vape shop simply doesn't carry many of those - lots of teslas, sigeleis and others. A few Eleafs, no Kanger, no joyetech, and no Cloupors.

The istick I mentioned is a 30W and has one rounded side/one flat and for me, needs more width - although not that of the 50W :) The first 20's I believe were squared off - nice as the first of the itty bittys but lost out for me when the defender 25 came on the scene (plus my really poor luck with the isticks). I still have one (30) and DW has one (30) going as well - one in 'storage' :- )

Real (although still vaporware last I looked). I'd buy one if it came in before the black and whites. Specs I've seen says 'spring loaded'.

I really think that the Cloupor Mini + is a job very well done. A lil small for my big hands but the stealth/pocketability overrides the ergo.. uh.. hands down. My ONLY complaint with it, is the sharp edges on the fire button. Finger is gettin a lil raw, but that prolly has more to do with my vapin the SHTAKO outta it. I have never understood, why NOBODY seems to catch on how WONDERFUL the fire button feels on the Provari, and copies that slickery lil jelly bean.. I PLAY with that button, just because it feels so good..

Which on the Defender 25/36 is a great plus, imo - no edges, nice feel - feedback. I know someone :) who had a stuck button though... It happens. with the Defender, there's a rather easy fix.....

It DOES have sharpie buttones, does it not!! (guess I haven't used it all that much to even notice that.... thank you LLB person)
And yes, if every mod had the Provi buttons...... ahhhhhhhhhh...... a girl can dream, right?

Continue to play with the buttons. It's a good life.

I got the light blue subox mini first and didn't notice the blue display
until I got a white one with white display. Nice touch.

so maybe I missed your impressions/thoughts with the subox mini,
but I guess you liked it enuff to go ahead a buy a second one...

:):D

Hi Terry! In my case, I've had three that leaked. Rebuilds, OCC's, different wicking set ups, didn't matter. Worked for a few weeks then not after that. The leaking is the 'cracks'/spaces above and below the AFC. Not certain what is the case with Oregon Linda....

Have you considered getting an extra base? Sweet Vapes sells them. Maybe the V2 bases are better?

If you have three subs, I'd give it a try.
