Very much so--it's a mini. Is it bad?
Yeah right. You don't know me... Nothing is painless when it comes to technology.
I usually experience shortness of breath followed by a full blown anxiety attack whenever I'm faced with a new and unfamiliar procedure involving computers.
Just my luck. I like 2-2.5mm... You know, the Goldilocks syndrome.
I also prefer horizontal coils. I feel they produce better flavor. No, I can't prove it and I have no idea why feel that way. I just like them better.

Oy...

Since I didn't expect the tank, just the mod, I was caught off guard. I think I'm just gonna buy a couple of each kind and play with rebuilding them. But I don't have great hopes--Joyetech never made a great topper, ever. They just can't figure it out. They make great batteries, though.

I'm too chicken to mess with an upgrade...

iStick choppy? Well, the 20, maybe, but my 30 is nice and smooth. :D

And congratulations! Enjoy your new toy!

re: iSticks: I own a 20, 2 30's, and a 50W, and compared to the Joyetech Evic VT and Wismec Presa, the iSticks current seems a bit turbulent. I used the same tank with the same liquid and experimented and the eliquid really shined with the Evic VT while it was less enjoyable on an iStick, i.e. harsher. My new 100W iStick seems more of the Joyetech caliber, so it appears the later models have been upgraded in more ways than wattage, which is a good thing. While I still love using my iSticks, once I experienced a smoother vape it's hard to be satisfied with anything less.

I was just kidding, Jef! And you're correct--from my experience so far, the smoothest vape comes from my ProVari, my Innokin mods, and now from this little eVic mini.

That said, there are people who actually prefer a bit of that rattlesnake thrill that lesser mods produce. :D

this is how I look at them...

can't say much on the sub-Ω (compared to the big boys that are out)

but as a modified, hot rod EVOD style tank
it just works great for my needs...

I get great flavor on my eGo One using CLR 1.0 on an eGo One batt. I've used them on other mods but pretty much like the GS Air, and eMows and one working ST :- )

so your VTC is of the 60w persuasion ?

looks like (from videos) the update is pretty painless

the eGo ONE tank works MUCH better with the CLR coils
I didn’t care for the stock, vertical CL coils (tho, not terrible)
big diff in air draw between the .5Ω hole (3.5mm)
and the 1.0Ω hole (1.8mm)

of course the CLR coils are horizontal (and I love that)

:)

my TC40 is a champ !
How does the diameter of the positive pin in the CLR heads compare?

Not the pin--the air hole. The sub-ohm coil head gets much more air than the 1Ω one--but I don't don't understand why so much more...

Wait... Did I misunderstand your question? If so, N/M...

Are you saying that the CLR 1Ω is no good on other mods?

Sorry, my reading comprehension tonight is not very good...

No. I just have one and the batt that came with it - good match. It is one and only topper that needs a circuit spacer on the kbox mini.

Safe to come in here now?

Hello there Kat darling. Have you (or anyone else) bought the mega Cero tank from that Bang Good establishment? I'm still thinking about getting a Cero tank, mega or otherwise, but I can't find enough motivation to actually place an order...

I opted against the Bang Good (?), as the air flow is not the same on the mega or the mini.

The V2 CeroTank is DEFINITELY the way to go. If anyone needs a link to purchase, do let me know. :)

I now own ummmmm........ a "few".

Ok! I called the other half and got the go-ahead, so I now have a black Kbox Mini on the way!

Thx for the heads-up, @gerrymi !!

Andria

In 10 to 26 days I may also own one. :D

I sure hope so; next year I want 2 more CF4s, gold and purple... :D

Andria

What will you have etched on these?

The main problem is that I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY RIGHT NOW TO BUY BATTERIES TOO!!! I'M NOT RICH AND MY CREDIT CARDS ARE ALL ALREADY AT THEIR LIMITS!

Sure, I'll be getting some more, payday's coming up, xmas is coming up, but there is only so much to go around at any one time -- I jumped on that sale BECAUSE THE PRICE WAS CHEAP AND I COULD AFFORD IT!

So I will use what I have in the interim. They haven't caused any problems vaping at 10 or 10.5 watts, so I don't anticipate any problems vaping at 9w. If I wait until I have new batteries before trying out the mod, the "DOA" warranty may have expired, and if it *is* DOA, I'll be SOL!

Andria

Andria......... oh Andria.

We all have budgets, and it's understandable that it is often frustrating.

You did however, get very good info from Mr. Turtle, and it does appear that you were fighting that info.

I hope your batts are always good and last you long-time.

Meanwhile, when it does come time to replace them, I would heed the good advice given on this thread. If anything, our hard earned money should be well spent on safety, n'est pas?

Gotcha!

My tank came with Ni and Ti coil heads, so I may give them a try... Pray for me. :D
