Although I seldom vape over 10 watts, usually 8-9 watts, I like to be able to adjust according to topper, juice and my mood. I do not like top coils, I prefer bottom coils. I rebuild, and like that I can control what I get from my equipment. JMHO, it works for me!

Today is my 3 year vapeaversary. Never thought I would quit analogs, but quit on my first vape (a Blu disposible). The Blu didn't cut it, but I realized it could work. Found ECF, better equipment, and the rest is history. For my selfish self, I got a Kbox mini (Vapor Beast Deal of the Day last week - just the mod) and an EVIC VTC mini in the mail yesterday. I really like both. Won a Coupor mini+; it is very nice too. Still have a Wismec Pressa 75w TC on the way. Oh and another Heatvape Defender 50 watt (love my Defenders!). These new mods have come a long way from my variable voltage ego-style beginner mods, but so have I! My friends here on ECF (everyone here especially included!) have helped me be the confident, happy, proud vaper I am today.

Thank you!
HAPPY THREE, clnire!!!! [emoji106] [emoji512] [emoji122]

I've always suggested leaving some headroom with our battery-powered APVs and not running them floored all the time. Just my :2c:

My thoughts as well. Drive your car at "red-line" all the time, and the engine won't last long.

Although for many of us, 30 or 50 watt max is still well above our usual 8 - 10.

Alden, no worries. I've got plenty of headroom.

;)

Headroom... headroom... headroom... headroom...

Kute. I'm not crazy about running a single battery at 75 watts though. Sure it can be done, but such a short battery life. And if a person isn't going to run it that high, then why bother having the extra wattage? Or am I missing something?
Ya you are missing something. I will never run a mod at 75 watts. This thread is about itty-bitty and that's what I want. Since I run my pt2 at under 10 watts. The Chinese manufacturers are only interested in upping the power. I don't sub ohm or crank up the wattage. I want under 20 watts small and an 18650 battery. Where are those being made ?? Very few if any new itty-bitty's are targeted at lower voltage ...........

I wasn't commenting about what you intended to do or not, I'm sure your fine.

I was wondering what chinese manufacturers were thinking. Not everyone is going to pick up a 75 watt mod with a single battery and question if they should run it that high, even meeting the battery requirements of 2O amps. I think many are going to assume they are good to go or get frustrated if it doesn't reach 75 watts.

My observation was it didn't make sense to me to go much over 5O watts on a single 2O amp battery. I certainly don't know everything about batteries which is why that was a question.

I think we've seen most of what we're likely to see. Because of the size of the 18650, electronics and other components, I don't expect to see smaller mods than the Cloupor Mini, eVic VTC Mini, Defender, etc; especially on this battery technology. I picked up a VTC Mini kit on a Cyber Monday deal for $35. Have I run it over 30W? Nope. It cost roughly the same as my iStick 30W, however.

What more do I want? The power of a DNA 200; the performance of a Velocity RDA; the capacity of a SubTank+; the longevity of a 6000 mAh lipo; the quality of a Provari; the price of a Tobeco clone; all in the size and form factor of an analog cigarette. Unfortunately, we will probably never see this device. :(

I also want an e-liquid that tastes exactly like my grandmother's strawberry-rhubarb pie. :D

Oh, and it's another variation on Innokin's favorite "top-coil cartomizer" design... So expect dry hits, especially when the eliquid level in the tank gets low. Come on, Innokin! Another Vivi Nova?

Innokin Endura T18 Coils 5-Pack (Authentic) – $5.42

Those coils certainly look like the coils for the iClear 30S.

As a MTL/Tootle Puffer...I mostly use Nauty's and GS Tanks.

But I keep a couple iClear 30S's in my rotation because the coils last forever...and because with their top-filling refilling takes 1-2 seconds!

[Have yet to have a dry hit...]

The 75E Presa TC has been working great so far. I love hearing the button CLICK when pressing. The battery life has been great running it around 20W. Fits in the hand like an iStick 20/30W but delivers like an Evic Mini. And it's nice to see the amp draw, just for curiosity's sake.

I won an Endura in the Innokin Christmas contest!!!!! I will report when I receive it. I think I will give it to a friend for Christmas who is trying to quit smoking with vaping. She went to a B&M when I was on a business trip and they sold her a Segelei 30w and an Atlantis tank with .5 ohm coils. Way too airy, and too complicated for her. I had given her some VV egos I had along with some H2 clearos and a bunch of rebuilt replacement coils. She forgets to change her coil..... This might be better for her since she prefers the shape of the old egos... I was hoping for one of the Coolfires, but I ain't complaining!! Any win is a WIN!!!!
