Technically, and I don't mean to come of as a "hole", Provari does PWM too, just more efficiently than some (no longer all) other mods. I believe they run at around 800mhz, if my memory is correct.
Interestingly enough, my absolute smoothest vape comes from a mod running at around 550mhz. I can't figure out why, but it does (and I'm one of many who feel similarly). And I love the way a Provari vapes.
I also get a marvelous vape from the DNA40, but I've no idea of its PWM rate.
I'm not sure why or where the notion started, that a Provi doesn't PWM, but it's been around for as long as I've been vaping, and is a common misperception.
I'm guessing that still came off as "holy", but I truly was just hoping to clarify that often repeated issue. If my understanding is correct, all regulated mods do some form of PWM. I apologize, in advance, if my written word belies my intended tone.
I'm admittedly far from an expert though, and would welcome further or additional education/information from the many who know more about the subject than I do. ☺
