Oh, the ONE part of my post that involved collecting different BRANDS of mods, and you just had to pick it apart and say "OH NO.... I may collect mods, but I DO NOT neeeed a Provari, or a REO!" lol. Good for you, Shawn... Stick to your guns! [emoji14] Keep telling yourself that because you resist the Provari/REO, you are OK. lol. (I am just kidding, of course, & your reviews are very beneficial to the community) lol.... Keep doing what ya do, Shawn... Hey and listen, bro, forreal... If you ever (or have-ever) purchased any mods you disliked, hey, hit me up in a private message, and I'll most-likely very graciously take it/them off of your hands, bro. I need a vapocalypes kit as much as the next guy, even though I dont work/& have no dough.... lol. if it's going in the trash anyway, I'd be happy to take it. ESPECIALLY interested in squonk-boxes, but NOT picky.... lol. KEEP COLLECTING, bro. Keep it up. & keep the great reviews coming!!
I had a Provari 2.5 in my hands. Functional. Ran it through its menu systen, and by the time I was done with the last menu item, my thumb was so cramped...

I have nothing against the REO. I wouldn't mind owning one. But in this day and age, they are getting a little long in the tooth. Now, IF they came out with something innovative again... but as it stands, they're selling Model Ts in a Mustang world...

The same can kinda be said for the Billet Box...

I think a lot of people collect what they enjoy. I like side by sides and so I want several before they are banned or raised in price such that I can't afford them. Same with mechs and regulated mods that I enjoy. I also want at least one or two dependable squonkers. They all vape different and I use them all daily. I have a much harder time narrowing down tanks and I dread RTA's. I don't have a single adv either. Some folks are fine with one main apv, tank and adv. I'm not one of them.

The reality is that prices will be going up and innovation may be slowed to a crawl during the next year or so. I don't see many signs of compromise. I hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
I agree wholeheartedly with most of this. However, I adore RTAs. I hate buying coil heads. My favorite tanks, though, are hybrids. I love the thought of being able to pop in a coil head and carry on if a build goes bad.

I'm that way with a lot of things... I like having backups for my backups.

That's actually what got me collecting... kinda... sorta... I quit November 24, 2014. After that date, I had two partial cigarettes. One when my tank ran dry, and one when my battery died. I made a promise to myself to never let that happen again.

I say kinda sorta because the ECF enabled me big time. Between the contests and the classes and the coupons and sale specials I never knew existed before I joined... let's just say I would still have nothing more than an iStick 20 and a backup 900 mAh eGo twist with a couple Anyvape Davide tanks if I had never joined.

That Anyvape Davide, by the way, was a sweet little clearo that would use either Aspire BDC or Kanger coils. Even then I wanted to be prepared...

well, this one

will let you bypass the chip and go mechanical if absolute necessary! cost-wise and size-wize it should qualify for itty-bitty! voltage output down to 1!

VRsx Temperature Control Mod – Powered by YiHi SX350J | VapoRider

Nice mod, but... are we sure that it lets us bypass the chip? Or is it similar to the VTC mini bypass mod, where the the power still goes through the chip, even in the "mechanical" mode, as explained below by our friend the Turtle?

Kent, the Bypass mode just means that the electronics do not regulate the voltage. It does not become a mechanical device. The power still goes through the chip. If the chip burns out, bypass mode is still going to fail.

I don't have a Provari...at least not yet. I do have a few of the Innokin mods and the VV V3s..and I do think they vape "smooth". There's just something "better" about vaping with them than with a SMOK mod or iStick, etc. Flavor is better. TH is even better. "Smooth" is definitely a word that I would use for them. I thought maybe it was just me, but maybe there's something to why I tend to prefer the Innokins. I was thinking maybe it was just because I could finally afford to get a couple of the MVP style things they make, now that they are going on clearance or reducing in price. :)

Yup! I agree. My ProVari and my Innokins (MVP2, VV V3 and the CF4) are smooth as butter.

Phil confirmed it for all the Innokin mods. Go to 23:25 into the video. :)

Not that I care all that much... A bit of that rattlesnake purr from your battery can be quite thrilling. :D

And look at it this way - you won't be nail biting into the play-offs!

Well, not only did we finish 2016 undefeated , but we also only dropped three draft picks down (8th instead of 5th).

It's the little things.. :cool::laugh:

That's a 60% drop!!!

Did they just now change some things on ECF?????
Yeah, looks like they did. Hmmmm.

Now we get to see who can't tolerate change, and who can just roll with the punches.

That's not what the Cardinals said.

Well, they squeaked past us in OUR house, so.... Nothing like good prep for another road game!

You're the second and third to comment on that this AM, but it looks the same to me...

From a PC and Firefox, with the original ECF skin. (Not the EcigaretteForum skin.)

Technically (here goes a'ole DP again!), it's a 9% drop (4 spots down, out of 32).

:)
That's the optimist in you speaking there. Get your attitude corrected and be sad like any self-respecting marine mammal fan should be!

All messed up for me as well.
I wouldn't say "messed up"...but ECF definitely looks a bit different this morning! The "like" (etc.) turns red when you mouse over it. And there is a report button at the bottom of the posts. Options for FB, G+, Twitter etc. next to the "like" comments. That's all I have noticed so far. Might be more.

Just logged off to check. The new default seems to be ECigaretteForum. At least that's what shows for guests. So if you've not specifically chosen a skin, that's what you'll get. ECF is the old default, so if that's what you want, you'll need to set it. You'll still see the other until you log on.

What type of Browser do you use?

Because on my IE11 it was all Scrunch Up.
