Dang is vape 101 fast!!!!
That certainly is a GREAT price (I paid $43 for my last one) (was worth every penny).
But...after IM'ing them...they only have the Standard (ie. not XL) lengths left...
I have a Pressa 75wTC. Just came the other day. I love the feel and the big button. Has some heft (weight) to it, but no more than any other well built external battery mod. I have only used it in power/wattage mode so far, have not had the time to build some Ti coils yet. Hope to later this week. I tried to update it with the Evic firmware, but did not succeed. Could have been a user error, but I am going to research more and check out that thread!! Overall, from what I have used of it, I like it.I thought this might be the thread to find some opinions on the Presa 75W, but I didn't find many comments here or anywhere else for that matter (could be poor searching skills). It's the mod that I'm leaning toward purchasing, and I'm wondering if anyone is aware of any cons I should consider before purchasing.
Thank you.
The same can kinda be said for the Billet Box...
I like E-CigaretteForum Dark! =)
Well...aldenf...I tried the "Dark"...and it does look quite nice...at 12 NOON.
But I have f.lux installed on my PC...and when the sun goes down those dark themes are a little hard to read...
F.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day.
It's even possible that you're staying up too late because of your computer. You could use f.lux because it makes you sleep better, or you could just use it just because it makes your computer look better.
f.lux makes your computer screen look like the room you're in, all the time. When the sun sets, it makes your computer look like your indoor lights. In the morning, it makes things look like sunlight again.
Tell f.lux what kind of lighting you have, and where you live. Then forget about it. F.lux will do the rest, automatically.

I had a Provari 2.5 in my hands. Functional. Ran it through its menu systen, and by the time I was done with the last menu item, my thumb was so cramped...
I have nothing against the REO. I wouldn't mind owning one. But in this day and age, they are getting a little long in the tooth. Now, IF they came out with something innovative again... but as it stands, they're selling Model Ts in a Mustang world...

Thank you for your input. I do like the form factor, and that's maybe the #1 factor in its appeal over similar mods. Specifically, I see the VTC mini recommended frequently, but not the Presa. I've been wondering if there's a specific reason for that, beyond the fact that the Presa's a bit newer (at least I think it is).
You can get something similar for your phone as well except its under the name Twilight instead of Flux.Well...aldenf...I tried the "Dark"...and it does look quite nice...at 12 NOON.

Da FLUX! It's a cool little itty bitty d'load that adjusts your computer monitor depending on the time of day. I've been running it since ECF switched over to XenForo and I love it.
Gerry described it perfectly. Here's the link again: f.lux

If your eyes are sensitive to such things, flux might help.
- For those who are sensitive to such things, my power button has a slight rattle (which is not the case on my white one).
Can you install flux on a kbox mini?

Now back to the pernt (thank you, Ed Norton) -
Update on KBOX MINI Platinum.
It arrived. It's nice, but not "all-that". Allow me to explain....
Overall, I like it. I'll use it, but it will definitely be a "beater". If someone asked me which to get (Platinum vs. black/white), I'd recommend the latter.
- Weight wise, it's manageable. 135 grams, as previously indicated, vs. 120 for the black or white earlier versions. We're talking one-half ounce difference.
- It has the big, bold display, not found on the earlier ones, which is nice.
- The finish? Meh! It's about the cheapest block of steel you'll ever hold, and is already scratching up (12 hours later), and is an absolute fingerprint magnet. Compared the the OlaX Hero, the finish is terrible. I guess I expected something along the lines of the OlaX, given the pricing similarities, but that's far from the case.

Now, where were we again? Oh yes, "Fluffers"...
"FLUX!" Sorry. I got konfused.![]()
That hurt my head.
Aw, flux it.

ONE other note about the KBOXs. For some reason, on both units, I get an occasional misfire. I push the button, and nothing happens.
Those are a sore point for me, and could prove to be the death of my use of them (if it continues). I'm using two different tanks (one Cero and one Silo Lite), so I know it's not the tank.
It's not often with either, but it DOES happen. I'll have to keep an eye on that. No misfiring device has ever lasted too long with me, regardless of how much I liked it when it did fire. I NEED to KNOW that it's going to fire when I press the button.
Allowable exceptions? None.
Yea I guess if it didn't fire that would defeat the purpose of buying the mod. For that reason, I'd be tempted to return it if possible. You might have better luck with a replacement. Misfires are not acceptable.
That's sad, overall. It looked lux in pics. A well built solid mod in ss with that form would be a good seller IMO. The original Kbox had such steller reviews for an under $2O mod that I thought Kanger would keep that reputation going. It seemed like this might be their flagship model but not with the issues youre having.
Thanks for being the guinea pig. Back to my opinion of not buying version 1 from Kanger, even if it looks like it's only an upgrade.
