Similar to a conversation @Katdarling and I had the other night, about the "Titanium White" Provari's on blem sale. I do not like it when companies play with words in such a way as to confuse reality.

1. It ain't "Platinum", and -
2. IT AIN'T TITANIUM!!!!

o_O

IS wrong! Especially since I was ready to POUNCE on a white Ti for 60 buckaroonies. Shame on them. (this time)

hmmmmmm, if kanger box coils fit across the board…

just seems peculiar they won’t fit…

Puf, the kanger box coils allows entry of the air shaft giving room for length of air shaft. The Aspire BVC coils do not. They have a clear silicone (?) top with centered hole under the rim of the top. Even if you cut the silicone top out, the metal rim would prevent insertion of the air shaft I think. :)

Paul, am using the purple replacement glass with the black o-rings on the STM right now and there does seem to be a sliver of space between the top of the glass and the bottom of the top of the tank. I can't fit my thumbnail in between but can just fit my forefinger nail. Ha! :)

I can say, with "certainty" (having just tried) that the bvc coils do not work in the St nano. The bvc hole is too small so the chimney won't go in & the tank won't screw back together
I can confirm this as well, but the GS Air heads will do. I can't remember whether the coil head needs a shorter plus pin though.

How about fitting Aspire BVC in the Toptank Nano or Mni?

cool, understand what you're saying :thumb:

but if ONE fits, why not all ?

so it must be the NANO has a smaller shaft (OD & length)

Puf, I don't have the Nano to compare, but it seems to me that the "space" between the bottom of its shaft and the base where you insert the coil would be shorter and the shaft would inter the Kanger OCC coil farther in than what it does using the mini tank. If anybody else can expound on this conundrum, please do! :)

aspire BVC coil

:)

The thing is that not even all BVCs fit all the Subtanks mini. I know it sounds weird, but I've seen reports from people who tried and didn't succeed. This is a very out of specs proposition and may or may not work. I would never recommend BVC coils and a STM as a combo--to anyone. I was lucky because my blister pack came with coils that just work--but it's not true for everyone.

I only got those Aspire coils because Kat's been bugging me for years about them and since I already had a STM, I figured it couldn't hurt to try. [I'm still not talking to Aspire, but this may change. Those new all cotton BVCs are really nice. Heck, I may even invest in a Cerotank if this love affair continues...]

@pokemom ...

When your football team, well, stinks, your fans might get somewhat creative when presenting questions to their newly named coach.

He does kinda look like a young Putin. I'm not thrilled with this choice, the hubby thinks it is just what we need. Thoughts?

Good. I'm thinking there might need to be a tank & coil compatability thread, complete with spreadsheet since so many are crossing over with other brands. I think the atlantis V2 coil works with apx 1O tanks now. There's compatability with GS and egrip. It's handy to know.
and I loose track.
