That might knock out some innovation. For example, the 51O connection hasn't evolved much yet it's notoriously weak and ineffective. The fact many of these coils are naturally evolving towards similar dimensions probably has a function unrelated to compatability and in this case, that's probably a better direction.
What I find interesting is that Kanger has loads of 3rd parties developing clones and some of them are making improvements on the original design. IMO that's the way it should be, just drop the logo. Aspire doesn't have the same 3rd party development, at least not for MTL vapers. I can't figure out what makes the difference. I have suspicions and they have nothing to do with popularity or even function.
I do think it illustraates the value of a healthy clone, or generic, market as another pathway for innovation. In the longrun that will benefit Kanger and not the reverse. The logo issue is unrelated.
