What's the problem with the 26650 tech out now? After owning a Hades clone, I can't say I'll buy another 26650 mod anyway, but I'm curious none the less.

the 26650 are more jive
the big boys are not behind them so you see no quality in them
as you do in the 18650...

just shop around for them, they just don't hardly exsist :w00t:

I tootle so not so worried about amp (10A-15A-20A)
but the big MAH would surely be welcome...

sadly this is the best I know of (almost bought)

Skipped the 40w myself, as I'm only getting replaceable battery mods these days. And sticking with 18650 ones at that.

For me, the 100W is even more overkill than the 75 ;)

"overkill"...I can smell ya'...

As a quite satisfied Tootle Puffer I have, yet, to ever go over 15W (and have no interest in TC).

So for me...the TC40W is overkill...

But I am coming around to your idea of getting a couple replaceable 18650 Mods for the FDA DOOMing Regs...

@Shawn Hoefer I would love to know what you think about your Smoant Knight V1 60W box mod with the Talos V1 tank? I was thinking of picking up one for my son, I really like the size/looks/form and the fact the tank can also use Kanger subtank mini occ coils (which he has tons of)
I like it a lot. I think the tank is a bit better than the Kanger TopTank Mini.

The TC works well for SS316L, Ni200, and Ti#1. Of course, you can run Kanthal, NiChrome, and SS in power mode or voltage mode.

There are only 3 downside to the entire getup:

1. It's pretty heavy. With a full tank and a battery, I seem to recall it came out to nearly 7.5 ounces... nearly 1/2 pound!

2. The rubber bung that masks the battery cap annoys some people and could potentially cause issues if a battery should vent. I say could and potentially as we're not talking about huge loads here... also, I assume y'all know enough not to use bad batteries.

3. No extra modes... can't run with a typical RDA, can't run wires other than those preset, can't run tanks over 23 mm (I wouldn't even try anything over 22, to be honest)

I had to laugh when I read the text in blue. I thought it was ugly also but now I have 2. I love the feel in hand and I love the panel switch. :)

haha, exactly - .... ugly but the reviews were great and the price works, so now I own a couple
and they are BY FAR the most comfy, easy to use of any I have...:hubba:

I'd have an army of them if not the odd shape preventing abundant cases then there is the NO lanyard thing... :(

I used the SSOCC that c as me with the kit, and then I switched to the RBA, but they should do fine. I have fitted them for the review (www.controlledcoil.com), but never fired them...

Am I the only one who didn't think it was ugly?

OK, adding to the list. Should I get the 40 or the 75? I'm in the "40 is an overkill" camp, but if the overall design of the 75w Presa is improved, I'll go for it.

Yeah, I'll hit maybe 9 watts now and then!

And it's the same old issue of built in vs. replaceable battery. When we thought we'd be able to get new mods at any time, built in wasn't such a concern. Now....

Am I the only one who didn't think it was ugly?

Nope, not alone. I don't think it is, either ;)

I find most of my box and tube mods to be a bit hefty for lanyards, don't like that much weight around my neck.

For box mods, I use this:
Clip Case Cargo Mobile Device Holsters

(Check around for best prices.) I typically fold the flap inside and just use it as an open holster on my belt.

Some use flashlight holsters for tube mods, but I found one purpose built at a local shop for those.

Don't have a 40 at all, so don't know it the quality is improved, but mine are all going strong, no problems, and I DO recommend the 75 for it's replaceable battery. Well made device.

Good choice. :D
To be clear...I don't think the Presa is ".... ugly" just kinda funny lookin but I got past that real fast. :p

I also have several Ola Hero 30, which was, iirc, the first regulated in that shape. While heavier, they're very comfortable to hold and use. So I was already somewhat used to the shape when the Pressa came out, but didn't bite until the 75, for the replaceable battery.

Actually, I like that they're not the typical rounded corner rectangular solids!

You're not a kiddin! :?: You could knock somebody out with one of those.

I like a good, multi-purpose device, myself. ;)

And "three" on the "not ugly" part. Maybe a tough "pregnant", but I've always kind of liked them.

Here's an itty bitty. Non-replaceable battery, .8 ml tank, but definitely itty bitty.

Cute lil thang! Might be good for a quick "bathroom break" or something. The way I run through juice (even at only 7 watts and 1.6 ohms) is scandalous, so I figure this one would be basically a "one short session wonder". It's really cute, though!

Me..."four" on the "not ugly" part...

I always thought the Presa looked quite "futuristic"...(whatever that means)...:headbang:
