Little itty bitty mods under $100.

I'm looking for recommendations on mods with replaceable batteries that will work well with the iclear 16 dual coil carto? I love the iclears but I think they're not playing nice with my ego c-twists and vision spinners. When they work, it's the perfect combo for me after all these years, but I've had several new batts fail or act wacky. They are from different lots, so I'm thinking it's a compatibility issue. I need dependability!

In my lineup are the Cloupor Mini+, (and the earlier Mini, which is slightly lower on the watt scale and doesn't have TC), the Ola X Hero 30 (no TC) and the Wismec Pressa 75TC. All are small, easy to handle, single 18650 units that should have enough oomph

Others with other favorites should all chime in as well, since I don't use the topper in question

Good Morning All,

Enjoy your breakfast! I haven't slept all night playing with my new toy! I have a major nic buzz going!

I used the iSub V tank that was part of the kit and spent most of the night trying to figure out how to work the menu and fiddling with temperature and wattage setting... that was the worst! Finally I found a setting by referring to the watt and temperature ranges that are engraved in the coils and I started to get the picture, and a decent vape!

But our dear @Katdarling was so, sooooooooooooo, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO right about the Aspire Nautilus -- from the word go (and after priming ) there were clouds galore! Now I understand why some vapers suggest lowering nic -- the volume of the vape feels like it doubled my nic!

The only low for me is that the CFIV TC 18650 is larger than I expected... and quite hefty too! But the performance is stellar!

OMG, I am exhausted from excitement and new toy shinyitis!

I need a nap, and will probably fall asleep while looking for more itty bitty 75 watt slices of heaven! I wish you all a Happy Weekend!

Delightful, Delightful! Soo glad it's all working out and that you are happy as a room without a roof!! The CF4 might feel heavy..... in contrast to, ummm..... not sure. It takes about a nano day to get used to tho. You'll be fine!

In this class I like the Cool Fires, OlaX Hero, and Heatvape Defenders, but the Rolo (sic) RX75 is about my favorite right now. We liked them so much that we went up for seconds. At $30, it was difficult to resist.

Dang you Dave! I didn't need to see another cool mod. Question: I read somewhere that the front panel had the option of being transparent (so you could see the display) but I can't find it again. VapeNW has this mod for $30 but doesn't say anything about a transparent panel. Did you have that option?

I does come with a plexi panel, but I doubt you'd want it once you held it. Flipping down the panel is not only easy, but also kinda fun. With the standard body, the thing is built TOUGH.

There is a potential issue with the locking button, but I've never even flicked mine (and never planned to). Five click if I want shut off.

Point being that it's far from infallible, but it's an awesome mod, and if you don't use that button, it appears to be quite sturdy too.

I love the little thing, just as it is. Yes, you CAN use the plexi panel, and yes, you will get that in the box, but I don't see the purpose for myself. I'm not THAT screen addicted, and as DPL said it's so easy to just open up the little flip down door. The plexi is BEGGING for fingerprints, IMO.

The lock mechanism is a minor concern, but a concern nonetheless. I tried it, just to try it, and it's pretty damm tight. I prefer to just 5 click it and Bob's yer uncle.

No! I like to check the battery remaining and I'm always adjusting the watts up & down. Depends on my mood....you know.
