I noticed that too, kinda makes me wonder if her man doesn't beat her regularly with one.

I'd like to meet such a man and offer to him just two words of infinite wisdom:
"Lorena Bobbit".

I think she's just a poolnoodleist (Occam's Razor rules applied, no pun intended).

Well I hope it is just something they incorporate in their fun play. ;)

$39.80 Smowell DPV-50 Variable Wattage VW APV Box Mod - 6.0-50W / 1*18650 / silver at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

This looks promising.

My only critiques, without actually using one, involve the battery choice. A 50W device, utilizing an 18650 Li-Ion, is begging for an easily swappable setup (like the Cloupor Mini). Much like the SMOK XPro M50/M65, I would categorize the DPV-50 as having a replaceable 18650, not necessarily a swappable one. Get your Allen key out, remove two screws, remove the spent battery and pop a fresh 18650 in. This process is not awfully convenient on the go.

If you're looking for a 50W PV, in much the same form-factor as the iStick 30W, this seems to be the device to beat. Simply find the appropriate Allen key for your key ring and carry a couple of extra 18650s around with you.

Any mod using a replaceable battery where the battery door is secured by screws is a deal-breaker for me.

I know that some people love the USB-charging option, whether for IMRs or LiPos. And good for them! I, however, much prefer to swap out a removable IMR and use dedicated chargers to keep my backups fresh and at-the-ready. USB charging is way too slow for my impatient temperament. I like a quick-n-easy battery swap. Shoot, I can change the Samsung IMR18650 25R battery in my Cloupor Mini 30W (whose battery door is held on by magnets) or iPV Mini 2 70W (with a battery cap that screws right off) in literally one minute, from start to finish.

For me, a battery door secured by screws ruins the ease and efficiency of battery swaps. Too much work and too time-consuming. Over time, the possibility grows of stripping out the threads in the case, bunging up the screw heads (phillips or allen) or even losing the damn screws. Nope, I won't buy a mod built like that. I required either magnets or screw caps.

YMMV, of course.

I wonder what it will cost from a U.S. dealer. Keeping my eye on that one.

I'm still amazed that I don't see any companies wise enough to ship a replaceable-battery design with the battery included.
I think a design like this, with a hassle free battery included, could easily take some iStick market share.

Oh no --- in times past this was done and the batteries were often junk and best to be trashed. Many were batteries that ECF did not recommend using.

Also -- Some US vendors would trash the included batteries and replace with some that were acceptable -- but not necessarily good and very rarely known brands or # designations.

Some mod vendors also carry known batteries, so often one can add to their cart as time of purchase. Or, just stock up at RTD Vapors or another trusted source.

True. Or - :) - the manufacturer can get with the program and ship a Good safe battery, and it will draw in all those iStick customers that don't want to be thinking about this stuff.

that too but also that link is from fasttech and they were having so many issues with customs and batteries that I think they decided to sell most mods without batteries now and then if you want you can order batteries (not sure haven't looked lately if they still carry batteries) but have to pay for a specific shipping type on those and wait for however long it takes freaking customs to finally release the items with the battery to be shipped.

You lost me at Allen key. I would love to see the door with magnets. Pop off, pop on. Boom. (maybe "BAM" would be a better choice).

My pleasure Kat. My post, my responsibility to supply needed info.

I saw it and thought it fit our specs here. I do agree a magnet door would be ideal but with the travel I do USB charging as opposed to having to drag around batteries and a charger (although I will) is much more convenient. At home changing/charging batteries is not a problem. On the road in motels, USB charging is more convenient. If I were to get a changeable itty bitty, it would mostly be USB charged and battery only changed when necessary.

Just my current lifestyle.

Oh and sorry it has nothing to do with mini box mods. But anyvape put out a new line of all kanger aero styled tanks that take aspire bvc. I got the aerotank v2 it's an exact copy except the center post is spring picked to accept kanger and aspire coils. It's by far my favorite. Tank now for my istick and many may like the aerotank looks for minis but enjoy bvc vape better, I know I did. Not a leak or gurgle yet.

I got the ceritank v2 which is the aerotank obviously off ebay for 16.00 shipped only model I see on there so hope they become more available. My favorite thing in my opinion I like it more than the Nautilus. No leaks or gurgle 6 days using all day 7ml a day. Great build quality and came with the new bvc coils with the bigger juice/air holes. Very happy with it lol
