If I can't stick an atty on top of it it's not a mod :)

I really like the POD devices and where they are going with that technology, don't get me wrong, but those aren't "little itty bitty mods for under a $100". The A1 is more like the Juul, iCare, Suorin Air, etc. to me.

I hope i'm not coming off as a jerk. I'm cool with whatever gets posted in here. These are just my thoughts :)

You NEVER come off as a jerk (trust someone who's an expert at the concept). :|

Expanding horizons, all of us, one great or funny vape at a time.

MY vape is useless without a "V". So unless something changes dramatically in the pod arena, well, I guess I'm going to have to find something to vape.

iStick Basic if you can find it on clearance or wait for a sale.

I put a Kayfun 2.1 in mine (picked up a bunch on $1 clearance!) and it is a great pocket carry and vapes just like a Kayfun... win/win.

I now realize that this post is :offtopic:...but...but...

TT...for someone who's decided it's time to try a "POD system"...which one would you recommend...

Honestly, not my area of expertise @gerrymi. I've done a lot of reading and TRYING to keep up (there are SO many out there). I tried the iCare solo and LOVED the device and hated the coils (spit back). Tried a friends Juul (kicked like a mule with the high nic salts... woof!). Not much else in experience for me.

I would spend a lot of time in that forum, get familiar with what is out there, pros/cons and go from there.

There are SO many variables like:
  • Draw - do you like a tight MTL, a restricted DL or an unrestricted DL. This will be a big factor in choice
  • Battery life - what are your needs and uses for the POD
  • Ability to fill Pod - i.e. a closed system or an open one. This is also a huge factor in choice
  • Aesthetics - How's she look :)
  • Charging
  • Etc, etc.

I do often carry an eVic Basic when I'm headed out the door...it's (almost unbelievably) small...and its clock is QUITE handy for someone who does NOT wear a watch (I took mine off the first day I became unemployed and/or retired)...nor popular enough to carry a cell phone...

Works GREAT with a Kanger T3S Tank...(I'm not smart enough to be able to handle a Kayfun  )...

... And I got a blue one just like it (sans the Boop bling, of course). Both came with Ares tanks. Utterly speechless.

Humbled, undeserving, and tremendously appreciative. We've got some pretty amazing friends, and have never lost sight of that. Will never lose sight either.

Thank you. All of you who have been gracious enough to call us friends over these wonderful 6-7 years. Never to be forgotten, regardless of where lives lead us all.

Again, thank you. <3

You said it all so beautifully, and for me as well, sweets.

Blushing, and agreeing, with all heart.
