So, what should I buy myself for my vapeversary????

Well, since you're coming up on two years (BIG congrats! :toast:) you should consider a matched set of something you don't have but do have your eye on. And, imo, it deserves something a LOT more special than juice - unless you're getting 2 litres! :)

So, what should I buy myself for my vapeversary????

I'd suggest SPLURGING (you're worth it)...and getting some Whole Tobacco Alkaloid (WTA) Eliquids.

They're kinda' expensive...but (if you're like me) they'll add a Whole New Dimension to your vaping. (And you do not need to use a lot of it. I do a couple hits when I wake up and a couple hits in the early evening. It's effects last a LONG time!)

Whole Tobacco Alkaloid WTA Eliquid Ejuice

[If you're not sure what WTA is...check out this thread:]

So I pulled the plug on a "tiffany" blue eGo one for my 2 year vapeversary! It is just so tiny, and cute. I'm hoping that it will be something to just put in a pocket for those short trips to the grocery store, etc.

I do find it pretty funny that all of the reviewers are complaining about the short battery life (1100 mah). I remember that my ego battery was a 900 mah and everyone thought that was huge!!!

Soo... did anyone get the Smowell DPV 50 yet? I saw in Deals and Steals that this device was going on sale at the price of 27.99 with coupon code DPV50 at this site. I am very tempted to pick one up. It's less than $30 for a 50 watt mod! But of course the question is... why is it so cheap and is it worth it? Would rather not waste my money if it's just a piece of crap.

I did. I have been using it for about a week.

It's not a Bad mod for the Price. It's has some Quirks. Like the buttons Rattle a little. And you can't see what Voltage is being Outputted except when the Fire Button is being Pressed.

But for the Money, I'm happy with it.

BTW - I'm in Southern California. And the Order to Delivery time was Exactly 7 Days.

"outputted"
new word for 2015 webster's. I knew exactly what you meant.

Why doesn't Gear's Best carry fuschia or green since those are the only 2 colors worth having?

Yeah... I Spell about as well as I Type. LOL

BTW - I didn't mention it. But 2 things I Really Like about the Smowell DVP-50 is the Radiuses on the Sides, and the Weight.

It fits Very Well in my Hand. And the Weight makes it Easy to Hoist all day long.

I need something more than 30w and was getting ready to get the Kbox - but silver, really? Good thing Jwraps already has wraps for them but I'd really like something with color (which does not include black) however I have NO faith in FT getting anything in that isn't showing in stock. This would have been perfect.

Silver wasn't my 1st Choice. But it Isn't all that bad either.

Silver doesn't show Scratches as much like Black or Colored Bodies. It is also Easier to find on a Cluttered Desk. Or when it falls between the Sofa and the Table verses Black.

I really didn't need this Mod. But I got roped into Excepting a Gift Certificate from FT on some Hana Clone Junk that I bought last year. And the Gift Certificate was going to Expire. And Silver was all they had in Stock when I got it.

I'm Happy with it. In fact, I Really like the Feel of it. 50W is enough for me. And the Price is hard to beat.

Will it Last as long as Other Mods? I Dunno.

BTW - Here is one more Quirk about the Smowell DPV-50. And that is what happens when you Charge it.

Since the Battery Door needs an Allen Wrench (which is included) to open it, I leave the Battery in the Mod and use the Built in USB Charger.

When you plug in a USB Cable, the unit displays a Graphic of the Battery and a Percentage of the Charging Process. That I Like. A Blinking light or a Battery with a Lighting Bolt in it doesn't tell me much about how much Longer it needs to charge. So the % is a Great Feature.

But after about 20 seconds the Screen goes Blank. And you need to push a Button to see the Status of the Charging.

A Small Thing. But kinda a PITA. It would be Nice to just look down and see that I was it 83% or Whatever. And then have the Screen go Blank when the Charging is Done.

Like I said, its a Small Thing. But it Reinforces the thought that Many Products are Designed by people who Never Use Them.

The worst part is that shipping in 5 days. I've seen that extended to > 30 days before.
Well, I take that back. The worst part might be decieding which color. That is cruel.

I not Crazy about the Green. But it is a Unique Green. I'll give it that.

Here is one Last thing that Surprised me about FT.

I knew since MH360 went down that getting Batteries shipped from FT has been a Problem. And I was Fully Expecting to wait Months to get a Pair of 18650's via my Soon to Expire FT Gift Certificate.

What I Didn't Realize was that FT has a "Special" Battery delivery method for the USA. And that is they have a Warehouse in Cerritos CA (about 15 Miles from my Front Door!) from which they ship Batteries to US Customers.

So when I did my Order for my Smowell DPV-50, I also did a SEPERATE Order for 2 Batteries using the "Special" battery delivery option.

Both Orders where placed on the Same Day. And my DPV-50 came from China. And my Batteries came from Cerritos CA. The Cool thing was BOTH Packages arrived on the Same Day.

One Traveling 1/2 way around the World and thru Customs. The other came from 15 Miles away.

LOL
