Darnit!!!! @)$&&)(8&?:mad:$&!!!! I thought I was done when I succumbed to temptation (and dirt cheap prices) & bought the MVP 3 for $39.95. I need another new mod like a hole in the head. But...it does look nice. Better than the hand grenade Cool fire!!

So, after my frustration with the place i originally tried to buy the Dovpo Mini 50w, and getting a couple new RDA's that my current 30w just doesn't seem enough for, I tried again, but from Ali Express instead, and saved $15 too!

You can read my initial review at the following link if you would like, I have listed Pro's, Con's, actual dimensions, and other info there, along with photo's. Just remember, this is my first review if you even want to call it that. I'm just a vaper, not a You Tube reviewer...

So only after about 2 months my iStick 30 watt will only power up when plugged in, and even then it won't vape. Ugh, I knew it wouldn't last forever, but 60 days is redic! Can anyone reccomend the latest and greatest "small" replacement? I looked at the spreadsheet, but want real user recommendations. Want 30-60w.

Thank god I have my old Hana!

I know that the IPV mini is considered to be huge but for the machining quality and durability i recommend IPV mini v2.

I dropped it a couple of feet for numerous times and besides from scratches the performances didn't affected at all. Even no dent at all!!

Had a Little Scare with my Smowell today.

Coming off the Let Down of no ECF Software upgrade, and spilling Coffee on my desk, I grabbed my Smowell awkwardly and fumbled at the Power Button pushing it a Few Times to get a Hit.

I got kinda a Half Hit. And when I pulled it away, the screen Blinked.

OK...? I looked at the screen and it said 0.0W. That ain't good. The Up/Down Buttons didn't do anything. Pushing the Power Button did fire my RTA. But Very Weakly. Something just went Coo Coo for Cocoa Puffs.

No Panic. As will all things Electronic, a Power Down/UP will probably fix this.

So I dug out my Geek LED Magnifier and that Tiny Allen wrench and took the Battery Out. (First time it has been Out.) The Battery was OK, 3.9V. Put it back in. Same - Same.

Alright. Time to Figure Out what the Reset Hole does. Did a Pokus-Insertus with a Paperclip. The Smowell restarted. Cool. But it still showed 0.0W. And the Up/Down Buttons still did Nothing.

Thinking maybe my Smowell just went to the "Mother of All Machine". 1001001, SOS. 1001001, in Distress.

Maybe I have to hold down a Button while I do a Reset? Maybe the Battery should be Out of the Mod when I do it? Maybe those Bad Karma Points finally caught up to me?

Was looking at the 510 Threads with my Geek Magnifier when I noticed that there was an "M" on the Screen next to the Ohm Number.

"M" = Malfunction?

"M" = Mangled?

"M" = Mech Mode?

I vaguely remember something about the Smowell having a "Mech Mode". And Mech Mode made sense because it does Fire. And the Watts did changed when the Power Button was Pushed. Why does Stuff like this Always happen first thing in the Mourning?

I dug out the Chinglish Instructions and with some Random Button Pushing coupled with the Confusing OEM Instructions, I was able to get back into Watt Mode after about 10 Permutations of Button Pushing.

So if you Smowell all of a Sudden is Wacked, and you Can't change the Watts from 0.0W, check to see if there is an "M" on the screen. If there is, you in Mech Mode. Which I have No Clue why you would want to be? But your Are.

Anyway, Carry On.

Most fabulous and fun problem ever! Thanks, zoiD!

Those super long Twists tend to fall out of my brother's pocket at work. So, I finally got him to try the iStick 30. Now he's looking at box mods with replaceable batteries. He's looking at Vape NW since that's where he got his iStick. My brother has very little patience and hates to shop around.

There are 2 box mods that are cheap enough to catch his interest. The Cloupor Mini 30W - Box MOD / 20W + and the Sigelei Mini 30W $35.99 - Box MOD / 20W +.

The Sigelei doesn't have any reviews yet.

The Cloupor I believe is well-liked. But, isn't this the one that doesn't have reverse-battery protection?

Any recommendations for someone who's cheap but still expects decent quality?

the Sig Mini is a much better device but there is one drawback if you change atty's alot you just might wind up stripping out the threads, yet there is a fix linked below used as a new base to protect your original threads....i've owned this device since it came out and it's still solid.

Lot's of thread adapters around, but that one looks nice! Maybe even adjustable pin, but hard to tell from their pics. Nice find!

The Cloupor does have reverse battery protection. The mini has my vote. I have 3 of them !! Here is Cloupor's info page.

my mini got here today - 10 days from order from fasttech free shipping. put my atlantis on it with 12 mg juice and od'd right away. i'm waiting on some 6mg juice now as i did anticipate this. i like the size of the mini a lot - i've been using a vamo v6. i plan to refill the atlantis with 0 mg juice and a new coil in a few minutes so i can see how the atlantis performs. glad i have some 0 mg juice.

I have both of these mods. I would recommend the Cloupor. The Sig is a nice device but I had a really hard time getting any of my Kayfuns to fit. They were all too tight. I had the same recommendation for the cooling fan and did have one in my FT cart but I got a few new Kayfun bases that fit the Sig nicely. The threads in the Sig are way too soft. I believe they will give me issues down the road. I have had the Cloupor for about 3 months and I can't find a thing wrong with it.
