The "Athena Smart-30" (pre-order) price is close to the 50W-istick's price.

I'm guessing it is 30 Watt...so 20 Watts less than the 50W-istick.

But it's 4200mAh is pretty close to the 50W-istick's 4400mAh.

And...it's 51,660mm³ volume is about 40% less than the 85,905mm³ volume of the 50W-iStick.

This certainly is an option for us. The listed size is wrong however. A reviewer puts the original 25mm SubTank on it and there's lots of room on that top plate. I would guess 30mm across the short width; 35mm across the long width and 35mm deep. The chipset is new and probably entire PWM circuitry. For $47, I think I'd go with the iStick 50w, even if I was a low-wattage tootle-puffer. I would love to hold one in my hand though.

ETA: The reviewer also noted that it was heavier than the iStick 50W. I already have a VTR. I don't need another brick for my pants pocket and trapezoidal at that.

I certainly don't need one, but I think I want one. I really liked the iSticks in 20 and 30 watts but after getting the Cloupor Mini and iStick 50w, I discovered I like the feel of a more substantial weight in my hand. Now when I pick up the i20 and i30, I find myself looking down to see if they are really there. Its like I'm not holding anything. Slightly disconcerting.

Some of the specs are a bit odd....

See the 4th pic down (after the intro) showing the mm's. Then the specs right below saying something different
