Try using JB Weld instead...that worked for me.

I've had my eye on the Kamry too...its size is nearly identical to the Cloupor Mini, and the spring-loaded pin is ideal.

Based on everyone's feedback, JB Weld seems like the next step. Good news is I have a tube at work.

The Kamry's spring loaded 510 and size is what made my decision. Plus gear beast has them for cheap with a code I found.

I picked one one of these to try. It similar in size to a istick 50watt or smok M80. Battery life sofar has been excellent with a Atlantis, Subtank and a .5ohm build in a rba. After two days of use it still had enough power.

CMW i60 60W Kit – Smoke Smart LLC

Carbon Mod Works makes an expensive clone of the VaporFlask. This CMW i60 60W looks to be a cross between the iStick 50W and VaporFlask shapes, with a much more reasonable price. From the pics and description on the SmokeSmart web site (the only retail web vendor that sells it right now, apparently), the i60 is clearly designed as direct competition to the iStick 50. Same batteries---two dedicated 18650 Lipos providing 4400mAh and USB-charging, same low resistance capability, same display layout, but different chip. The product blurb says "better chipset than the eLeaf iStick 50W!" Maybe, but we don't know the identity or source of the chips in either device. The iStick 50W has a power range of 5-50 watts and uses PWM to approximate a kind of faux step-down. The i60 is listed at 7-60 watts, with no other specs, so it almost certainly doesn't buck either.

I'd hope that the CMW i60 has a spring-loaded floating positive pin and durable threads on the 510 connection, but the product description says nothing about that.

Another contender in that price/features/power range is the Smowell DPV-65, now on pre-order at fasttech and gearbest. The Smowell's triangular shape is a bit more compact than either the iStick 50 or CMW i60. The Smowell uses two user-supplied 18650 IMRs (as opposed to the dedicated dual Lipos in the others), and probably has the same chip as in the Smok XPRO 65.

Interesting, both! Are you (all) adding to The Sheet?

It's open to the public now....... :)

Kat...I still find The Sheet interesting (and somewhat useful).

But since I love the size of my 30W-iStick...and since The Sheet seems to have evolved with minimal "size restrictions"...I find myself often referring back to aldenf's original "size definitions" when considering any new "itty-bitty" mod coming to market.

I do believe we did our best to stay within the adlenesque limits, and those that waver are clearly marked. I'm thrilled that The Sheet is still helpful for some of you guys. It was a very important part of my giving back to our community. So thank you. *kurtsey*

Thanks for the hard work, I will have to keep up with this thread...

Thank you, Bootie wootsy oogie! (got me doing major disco now!)

Excellent...that repair should last a while. It has been about 6 weeks since I repaired mine and it has held up well. Cloupor certainly could've improved the stability by putting some sort of threaded metal ring underneath where it would screw around the 510 base to secure it against the wall underneath (or lowered the base altogether to allow the tank to sit flush rather than slightly raised)...a simple fix like that would've been ideal.

On that note, I believe the Kamry 30W V2 which you ordered has a better 510 placement whereas it is recessed and looks like the tank would sit flush.

Kat...for me..."The Sheet" is still quite informative. (And the time, effort and ingenuity you devoted to actually starting this thread (and continuing to "follow it") is the "icing on the cake".)

I was just saying that there are now so many non-adlenesque mods on the Sheet (even though they are clearly marked) that it's becoming a little over-whelming. That's why I often return to aldenf's (bookmarked) list of mods that meet his original "size definitions".

I'm glad it is, gerry! I do hope it continues to be helpful for awhile (until the newest latest and greatest little mods hit the scene).

And thank you.... thank you so much for what you said. Please do know that it was my pleasure and my interest and my own personal fascination as well as wanting to give a bit back to my vape .....

I know it's overwhelming. We do what we can tho, sweetie. Just sort it in whatever way works for you (size, price, etc.).

Do you own this one, Wormy? Like it? Have you added it to The Sheet perhaps? :)

Just a little aside: I had the opportunity today to touch/hold/feel the Clouper mini via one of my dear vape buds.

It's HEAVY!!! But oh so cute and little. :D

I don't own one yet Kat, but it's a good chance I will in the future.
How do I add it to the sheet?
