A really nice vape when wicked properly. A really fast large capacity juice dumpper when not wicked properly. And only two or three people on the planet can wick it properly every time.

I'm not one of those two or three.

Tell me about it... :D

No matter what I do, it either dumps all the joose the second it's filled or a few hours later--if I look at it the wrong way. If it doesn't develop a catastrophic leak, it oozes slowly into the 510 well.

Never, ever, look at it wrong.

Unless it is empty. Then you can look at it any way you want.

That's funny. I've never had a problem wicking my Erlkonigins, but Kayfuns absolutely hate me! I manage to get it working for one tank, and then the next one is nothing but dry hits. Or what happened last night, the fill valve on my 3.1 stopped working and dumped a whole tank on me. Grrrr!

Go figure.

I don't like the early Kayfuns, but my K4, which so many people find difficult, is my easiest and most user friendly topper. Never had a problem, never. Not even on my very first try.

That's good to know. I bought 2 Tobeco KF v4s for $4.95 on a Black Friday sale, so if I have problems with them, I'll know who to talk to. :D

So, YOU are one of those two or three people! I was wondering who they were!

You just have to remember to give your wicks a Mullet (remember that hairstyle from the 80s?) and they'll wick perfect every time. (And don't forget to talk sweetly to them while you do it). :D

I got one, too. :)

I really learned a lot from watching Phil's and Ruby's videos. It takes some time to figure this atty out, but once you've done that, it's just pure joy.

YMMV, of course...

And I've been all KFL all the time (except when I've tried all of the other fail-for-me attys). Tomorrow arrives my first K4, forced upon me by virtue of Katyaya's praise.

I'm expecting to be back to KFL by Sunday.

I'll be sure to watch those videos then before I even attempt it. I know there's a lot more to them than my 3.1s. But I have high hopes that I'll finally have some Kayfuns that work. :D

@Katdarling Have you updated the Itty Bitty Spreadsheet lately? :D
Ahhhh... that's what AnotherDeadDeadKeyboardist was asking about!!

Kat is gonna tell us all, again, that she has handed that over to Public Domain, and anybody can update it. Isn't she, Kat? Just don't mess it up. Unless it's already messed up.

Last I looked (July?), it was getting kinda messy... =(

We were all so proud of Kat, teaching herself to be the Google Docs Goddess. She had that sheet ship-shape.

Now I think I'll drop the subject before I'm sheet outa luck. ;)

I had some difficulties with wicking when I *first* got a KFL+... but that was my very first rebuildable, it would have been more strange if I'd been able to wick it perfectly from the start. :D Once I gave up on the "bunny ears" technique  and started trimming the wicks to the proper length and sticking them to the ledge with juice, they've worked perfectly.

Thank you, VAPINGTURTLE! I had no clue what was to be updated!

Alden, dahling...... as you now know, I gave it over to ........ no, I'm not gonna tell you what I did with it!

Within about an hour of < coughcough >, it was totally incomprehensible. Since that time, we cleaned it up (several times), but as it stands now, it's anyone's game. There are far too many to deal with, and welp, my Goddess of the SS term did endeth.
