Just curious if anyone has any thoughts on the Heatvape Invader Mini? I don't seem to see it mentioned much. Thinking this might be something to put in my stash box for the Vapocalypse. I have a few mechs, and 3 SIDs (VV/VW), and a few other things, but thought it might be good to have a more "updated" model of something, just in case. It's not particularly good looking, but it claims to be sturdy. I won't be using the TC feature on it. Any thoughts?

(If I can, after I've paid our property taxes, I am going to try to save up and get one of the older model Provaris. I really want their box mod, but can't see that happening with our budget. Still..the tube one would be okay. If I can get things to work out!)

My advise on vape stash, most items come with some warranty. I use the heck out of something during that period in case something goes wrong with it. You don't want to start using something a year from now and find out it doesn't work.

Yep, good advice, Paul! Test before stashing, while the warranty is still good!

That's what I do too. Use them regularly til the warranty runs out, then put them away in the vape stash. Gotta make sure everything is in working order before storage or it will only bite ya in the .... when you need it.

I kinda like the simple Invader Mini, and think I might get one...
also not to concerned about TC - sturdy, water, shock safe, a big fat ego style :D

That is the one I was looking at...$30 is easier to come up with than $80! Like I said: It's not exactly an attractive mod, but maybe it'd be okay for the stash box?

IMO that's almost halfway to a provari. I don't think anyoe knows about this other stuff because it's too new. Even the isticks. Some last 3 months, others last longer. The provari is the only one I know of that lasts multi years. My opinion is to bump it up on the priority scale.

I'm on a budget too and I'm really questioning all this other fluff $25 here, $35 there. It adds up and I coulda had a provari.

Save up for the Provi, 4th. You won't regret it (as Aik & Woofer have already indicated). I've got a few going on 4 years and you'd be hard pressed to tell any difference from my newer ones.

The things just work.

And work.

And work...

You get my drift [emoji6]

Exactly. I've been stocking up. As I looked around, I saw cheap stuff that wouldn't last and realized that the whole point of a stash is for something to last in case you can't get anything anymore. That means Provari for VV and REO for mech.

Now, that's insurance against zombies!

I will admit I did pick up one of these for my stash box. Just couldn't resist at that price. I ended up ordering another for a friend for a gift after I saw it. Well built for what it is. Aspire CF MOD

With the pending & obvious regulations, I'm now subconsciously looking at each device that attracts my attention thinking, "Idunno, that's half a Provi."

I wish I knew for a fact that some of them would have a similar lifespan, but absent of that, it's difficult for me to justify not just adding Provi's where I can.

I cannot do mechs. I've tried. "Variable" is an absolute essential option for me. V or W matters not.

But $80 for a guaranteed 4 or more year run? I'm close to having what I need, even under the most conservative projections.

Better yet, vote the regulators out, and get the legislation overturned. Because yes, it CAN happen.

All this assumes failure of HR2058, which might still prevail (even though it's tenuous at the moment). Never stop fighting though.

Please.

I bought one of those CF mods for the wife. Simple as a mech and I don't worry about her putting the battery in wrong or other problems. Light but sturdy. She is at home with a stack of batteries and charger.

Good price in that link, I paid 24.

I bought 2 for a steal (I think it was 14.99 with 15% off). They work, and are simple, but they are really long. (Don't say it, just warning folks) [emoji57]
